Great plugin, 1/2 way they which is huge help.
I like the text wrap and expand mode. But the color weekends doesn't work.
As many have pointed out, not everything works, but the event wrapping and the collapsing of the header and sidebar are so valuable in and of themselves that this add-on is nearly indispensable.
The other features will be nice when they get built back in there, but just having a larger calendar is so much easier on my eyes that it is worth five stars. Wrapping events is also invaluable.
If you use Google Calendar, you need this one.
I like the collapse feature!
But the 'Always connect https' feature breaks access to google support forum.
Week number and Colorize Weekends doesn't work (using it with german GCal).
Doesn't number weeks, nor report time on Today. The skin is too dark to read in parts.
But it's better than GCal without the improvements.
As others have said, the text wrap has stopped working.
Also the skin is now too fussy, but at least it can be turned off. I'd like one that's more clear.
It is very good though at enhancing google calendar, especially if you have a lot of events.
The option to change font size would be helpful, just to help squeeze a little bit more information on. FF's zoom out does work up to a point.
This was great, and the redesigned skin was beautiful, but as reported, in late October Google broke it, and now text wrapping doesn't work and all-day events have an ugly box around them, making it hard to read. I've since stopped using the skin. An update would be welcome!
Text wrapping isn't working. I'm hopping for an update soon.
As of yesterday, 2/8/09, the text wrapping feature started working again.
Very nice. I love all the "Better Google....." addons!
I cannot get it to uninstall. I mean it does but then it re-installs itself.
Very nice; but colored weekends don't work on my install, and the "current time" line extends across ALL days beyond the current one. I'd also really love to see the vertical day separation lines reinstated.
Yay! The skin works now!
The skins do not work at all in FF3.
SUPERB !! THANK YOU
On firefox 3 the timeline does not work, the Collapse Header eliminates the navigate and view tabs that appear just above the dates on the top of the calendar. As noted by others, the skins do not work on 2 or 3.
The skins don't work and there is an error in displaying week numbers.
This is a great tool for those needing to increase their browser real estate. If you have trouble after collapsing the header and sidebar, just click the view tab in the top right. No need to refresh the entire page. Well done, Gina.
First thing I did after installation was collapse the header and sidebar and my calendar events didn't adjust until I refreshed the page. Even after they adjusted, most of them were in the middle of the day block instead of at the top, and some ran down to the block below. After uninstalling, Google calendar wouldn't even load until I cleared my cache and cookies.
Perfect compilation of small tools that make Google Calendar that much better.
does anyone else find that Digg.com doesn't display properly when they use this plugin? I installed, Digg went south, removed and Digg is fine again. which disappoints me because I wanted to use this plugin.
Problems in Month View:
1) If a full day event's text wraps to next line, the event after that will overlap that line.
2)wrapped text will have the lower half of text cut off more often than not.
Very useful to expand the display, hiding top and sides, giving extra space when viewing month displays. Wraparound text is a godsend, enabline appointments to be longer than 2 words long and still readable!
Seems to scramble text when there are several appointments on one day. The colour weekends things coloured Sunday and Monday, no matter what combination of options. The arrows for hiding the side bars overlapped the text. But worst, the add-on hasn't uninistalled properly - my google calendar display is now completey screwed! - Unusable - As though a style sheet is missing or something.
