Nice, but anti-malware scanners detect and readily remove these cookies. Unfortunately.
Best (or rather worst given the purpose of the cookies) at detection and removal is SuperAntiSpyware; it finds about 86 of them. Next is Spybot Search and Destroy, which finds about 14 or so; AdAware finds and deletes some too.
This is not a problem with Beef Taco itself (assuming that the opt-out cookies are valid), but with the scanners that misinterpret them. I recommend collaborating with the scanner developers to help fix this.
I'm trying (not very hard yet) to find out how to contact the scanner developers to let them know about the opt-out cookies.
You make a good point. There is definitely a need for more communication between groups on this topic.
I haven't checked it personally, but Beef Taco should regenerate any lost cookies when it initializes, and possibly even immediately after deletion. More details on that soon.
