Great idea, considering most of the other themes are a variation on a variation, so end up looking alike. Downsides, when you hover over the toolbar the links vanish and it wasn't as small as I hoped for as I'm on a small laptop screen space is at a premium so I'll try to find something that gives me a bit more

I would love this theme to look more like the original, although I do like the extra symbols done for copy, paste, etc. I wish the colors didn't radically change when rolled over. I guess I'm just being picky - it is still a nice theme. Will you be making this compatible with personas?

Picky is good
I've just uploaded the new version (1.9.0) to work with firefox 3.6. I can't seem to get personas to play nice with any themes now... I agree with you, in part, about the original theme with the Bauhaus font's letters as the buttons. For this theme though, I was shooting for a language-neutral concept.

Please make the background of the nav bar and the search bar in a darker gray. Only to make sure that i rearly cannot see what i am typing in.

Rated 1 out of 5by skidmore, 9 years agoI prefered the old bauhaus - what is that weird saucepan shape? Where is the t for tab? I wish I hadn't agreed to the upgrade. Might just uninstall firefox and forget the whole thing.

Unlike some two-bits FF thems, it also integrates very well with Mac, where I am using it without a problem, with FF 3.5.1.

Just to let you know that I'm running Firefox 3.5 for Mac (on leopard os 10.5.7), and so far have no problems. Have been using bauhaus for ages, for so many reasons in addition to simply liking the look of it (reminds me of growing up - midcentury optimism in the modern, etc.), and have even held back on firefox upgrades waiting for compatible add-on.

Ok, Ok.. Since receiving a number of emails and comments, I've given up on waiting for FF 3.6 and uploaded the new version of this theme.
I'll try to get the new TB version uploaded as well.
-TinManposted 9 years agoBauhaus Pure makes me so happy with Firefox. What so excellent about this theme--beyond the pretty icons--is that works so well with Personas. Sadly the reason, I'm commenting now is that Bauhaus Pure seems to be incompatible with the 3.5 preview. I'm hoping to have my happy visual experience again soon!
