Nice look, missing features! Rated 3 out of 5 stars

This looks very nice, but there are a couple of significant things missing (using Firefox 3.6.25). Links in the Bookmarks Toolbar do not show icons, only names (if available). Since in most cases I use ONLY icons and NO names, this means I just have blank spaces. Also, in every other theme I've seen (including default), next to the forward/back navigation buttons, there is a dropdown allowing me to choose from previous pages. That is not included with this theme. Looks nice, but with those features missing, I can't use it.

Search bar icons? Rated 5 out of 5 stars

I love everything about this theme - it's simple, but very nice to look at, and very organized so it's easy on the eyes, and easy to quickly see what you're looking for.

My only problem, however, is the lack of icons on the search bar ... when you drop the menu down, you can see the icons, but if you haven't searched for anything in awhile you have to drop the menu down to make sure you're using the search engine you want before you just go typing away.

I like being able to just click in the search bar, start typing, and then (when I've finished typing my search terms), hitting ctrl + up/down to quickly scroll through search engines, if necessary, before hitting enter. But now that I can't see the icons without pulling down the menu, I can't do that.

Is there any chance that this option may be added in the future? This theme is so perfect, I would even be willing to donate generously if that one feature were added!

And everything is just right!

Best. Theme. Ever. Rated 4 out of 5 stars

Boy, have I missed this theme! A huge "Thank you!" for updating it.

I think the Back/Forward button needs work, however.

problem with Tab Mix Plus? Rated 3 out of 5 stars

I like the look, but it seems to cause problems for the multi-row option of Tab Mix Plus.

Note: I am using Firefox version 3.5.2 and Tab Mix Plus 0.3.8.1

Classy skin! Rated 5 out of 5 stars

This is one classy skin! Exactly what I've been looking for, simple, metal grey with NO blue or green in the sidebar. And the text in all my add-ons show unlike other skins. Thanks so much!

I use this theme 90% of the time and I'd like to thank you for such a clean, crisp design. It looks awesome with the 3D styles of Barbiegirl, http://userstyles.org/styles/19257 and http://userstyles.org/styles/19276

I have used this theme daily for some time but have always had the same issues other users have regarding the missing search engine icons. There are no icons visible, but if I click to the right of the search bar I can perform a search, and if click even farther right I get the drop down menu to change search engines. Not sure why the icons don't show up but it is rather inconvenient and I wish it could be fixed.

Issue changing search engines. Rated 4 out of 5 stars

Goodwork Staffman on the Basic Brushed theme. I have been using Firefox since Mozilla first introduced it. I use Windows XP Pro. OS. I have installed your theme, rebooted and defragged. No down arrow nor Magnifying glass for changing search engines. I uninstalled, rebooted, defrag. re-installed the theme, rebooted and defrag. again, but still no down arrow nor Mag.Glass for changing search engines. I have to switch themes, set my default search engine and then switch back to Basic Brushed. After I put in my search data, I hit enter and it will use default to search.

Nice, simple and easy on the eyes. Nice job with this theme! Doesn't slow down surfing or any other speed whatsoever for me like the previous reviewer said. Just registered to say thanks for this theme on FF 3.5. (:

Terrible.

Never seen a theme slow down Firefox that badly before.

And the spot where the New Tab button was put at was annoying.

This theme has no performance impact on my system what so ever, and the "New Tab" button is in the default location for FF 3.5 so I have no idea what you are talking about.

edit: well, I managed to tweak this theme a little bit to make it work with 3.5. no major edits needed it seems.

Will this theme be updated to work with 3.5?

I don't like that the Google search box doesn't have a drop down option that shows the other search engines.

There is a dropdown to choose another search engine

There is a dropdown to choose another search engine. There is a dropdown arrow to the right of the magnifying glass icon in the search box that allows you to choose a different search engine.
