Best podcast and RSS reader for Firefox. I want still to use it with Thunderbird, but the central button of mouse don't open the article with external browser. It's the only one problem for this great addon.
Bamboo is really a great feed reader, but not compatible with latest version of Firefox, when can we expect to get a newer version of Bamboo ?
Hoping it would be soon... thanks much.
Use Thunderbird to run Bamboo.
Define "about:bamboo" in start page (Tools - Options)
ottima estensione per Ff, attendo con ansia l'aggiornamento per la nuova tecnologia
This plugin is best when it's on the new FF ???
Mein Feed-Reader seit Jahren, ein sehr guter Feed-Reader! Bitte portiert es auf FF57!
My feed reader for years, a very good feed reader! Please port it to FF57!
The best! Please, develop it for Firefox Quantum!
The best reader for rss
Best reader and layout. Easy to use and add feeds, am desperately hoping for an update for the new version of Firefox.
This has always been my fav. reader. Will it be updated for Firefox Quantum?
This used to be my RSS reader but after it was discontinued, I switched to Inoreader (website) + Inoreader Companion (add-on) and couldn't be happier. With a couple of adjustments, it's basically the same experience for me, plus this setup is available for all browsers. You just configure the add-on's icon so that it takes you straight to the website and you're good to go.
Only issue: not being compatible with latest web extension :( :( :(
Bye bye Bamboo...
Really a great RSS feed reader. Still the update to Quantum is missing...
Simply the best. More comfortable than Feedly. Light, however extremely efficient. Offers much more features and options for free. Wide array of 'user friendliness' customisation options. Hope the developer will adress compatibility with FF 57. The pop-up feature is highly useful. Works with FF 56.
Le meilleur additif RSS pour Firefox. J`espère qu'il est possible de traduire cet extension pour les versions 57 et suivantes.
Soporte para Quantum, Soporte para Quantum, Soporte para Quantum.
C'est parfait pour moi : ça fonctionne, c'est simple, c'est clair.
is there an expected version for firefox v57's new system
Love it! Missing expanding youtube rss feeds af preview image!
Hi Julien Fray,
I use and do the translation of the Bamboo Feed Reader into Portuguese for years and a few weeks ago I sent you an email about the future of the Bamboo Feed Reader in Firefox and WebExtensions. Sad to know he can not be ported.
But It's even sadder see a browser that should be open and that should be created for the users (as Mozilla says) by running behind competitors and leaving all community and developers who maintains extensions for years, but... for me a worse scenario would be migrate to Chrome again and go back to the clutches of Google, which I avoid using the products for various reasons.
Well, I would like to thank for all these years of Bamboo Feed Reader. And hopefully, who knows, he might be ported one day. Thank you very much!
Super, mais il manque juste la possibilité de trier la liste des flux par ordre alphabétique, et de détecter les doublons.
NE FONCTIONNE PAS AVEC FIREFOX 57 !!!!!!!!!!!
Great, but it just lacks the ability to sort the list of streams alphabetically, and detect duplicates.
DON'T WORK WITH FIREFOX 57 !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I really love this RSS add-on, but I am worried about its continued development. As of today, Firefox's official extension still lists it as being incompatible with multiprocess. It's the only add-on I use that prevents me from taking advantage of the current Firefox features. Will it be upgraded to comply, or will I have to find another RSS add-on?
The add-on will not be compatible with Firefox 57+ anyway.
After Fx57 release it will be usable with Firefox ESR, Thunderbird or Palemoon.
I'm using it daily, as a replacement of lots of other readers I've tested.
One thing bothers me - is there any way I can sort my groups and feeds by name or URL?
It would be nice if the line-spacing in the feeds list can be tuned and the font-size decreased, getting more space :)
There is no sorting feature.
You can adjust the display density from the reader tab options (above the search box) or use the Firefox zoom.
Bamboo the best News Reader in a new Tab.
