Horseshit Malware buried in this addon.

Compare Prices & Discover Similar Sites? Why the FUCK would I care about having those features in a screenshot addon? I hope the entity known as Diigo dies in a fire.

Spyware / Adware Rated 1 out of 5 stars

At some point, I realized that my web browsing was slower and that "superfish.com" popped up for every website I visited. So, I took the time to disable all my addons to determine what's going on.

I don't want a 3rd party tracking which sites I visit. I didn't opt-in to this, therefore, it's spyware.

Your bunny steed! Rated 1 out of 5 stars

>> These are value-added features, and definitely are not "Malware" or "Adware" as some may mistakenly believe

Please don't pretend. There's no warning in a "do you want include that helpful feature?" option that the "helpful feature" is actually a tracker for every page you visit. And that DOES make the addon both malware and adware.

>> Please also note that these features are disabled by default unless you enable them.

For me, it started without any warning after an update. And the Options window doesn't even appear after clicking it in the menu. Ubuntu, Firefox 14.

It seemed like a decent addon, but now it behaves like "send us an SMS" fraud. The same excuses "we're not lying, we're just holding back some facts". Shame on you.

BAD experience Rated 1 out of 5 stars

Tried it on firefox on ubuntu LTS (fully updated etc) with many sites and pages - NOT EVEN ONCE worked properly! The "capture whole page" gets only fragments, NEVER whole page. DON'T TOUCH

WARNING: installs SuperFish AdWare Rated 1 out of 5 stars

The option to display SuperFish ads is enabled by default. This only happens in Firefox, Google asked the developers to remove SuperFish from Chrome. In my opinion, SuperFish AdWare ruins Firefox user experience.

What a mob mentality! The Superfish thing is DISabled by DEFAULT. And there's a checkbox to enable/disable it in the OPTIONS, which you can get to via the little down arrow next to the Awesome icon.

I'm only giving this 4 stars because when you save the screen capture the default naming routine includes a colon, a character that's not valid for a Windows file name. Picky, I know, but I don't see how that got past testing.

Sneaky extras - deleting straight away! Rated 1 out of 5 stars

Adds in a sneaky Superfish shopping plugin that cross sells other listed merchants selling the same or similar product you are viewing on signed up sites.

It also massively slows down the loading of pages while it's retrieving the information for the competitor websites. Only spotted it because of another great page load add-on that I have installed and saw it sitting there, waiting for a response!

Usually a great addon, but adware is uncool Rated 1 out of 5 stars

I understand it's a free product, but tossing in adware is blah. Especially since it says it can be disabled, but "strangely" there is no Option button for the addon.. >__>

Great Add-on, Poor "additional feature sneak" execution Rated 3 out of 5 stars

I loved this add-on for Firefox & Chrome. I understand the desire to monetize the add-on and I commend the ability to disable it. But, the execution of adding the "adware"/feature into the add-on silently - WAY not cool guys!!! You have the full capability to load a tab on Firefox's next launch/post plug-in update where you could have made it CLEAR that this addition was made and provide instructions with disabling it. Frankly, it was intrusive and it didn't take long for me to figure out which add-on it was, though this one isn't the only one to do something like this.

Frankly, if you were to use Google (or other) Ads on the options screen and screenshot screens - I would be cool with that - I'm used to it from numerous Android ad-supported apps. Next time around, please INFORM your user base about such additions. In addition, it might not be a bad idea to give them a chance to provide you with feedback as to how they would prefer any such "features". On the other hand, it's a screenshot plug-in, it should stick to what it's good at.

3 stars because I'm 50/50 on keeping it depending on future updates & "additions" to the add-on.

I previously used Screengrabber which was great, but support for it started to lag behind the frequent iterations of Firefox. As far as I'm concerned you have one more chance, sneak something else in and I'm done - uninstalled in Chrome and Firefox as well as my disdain towards other developers I see using it!

So remember, clarity is key here in being able to reestablish any lost trust.

If you ad these features, which are also not needed for main thing, means you benefit from them. Means they ADWARE

I am a web developer, and was working on a client's site when ads starting popping up all over the place. It took me hours to realize it wasn't the site that was hacked - it was because of this browser plugin!! DO NOT INSTALL!! I'm not sure how long I've had it installed or why it only started doing this just now, but especially if you're a web developer, this plugin will cause you all kinds of headaches. It's not a matter of comfort - this plugin SHOULD NOT do this. It's one thing if I installed a "shopping" plugin specifically - but a plugin for taking screenshots has NOTHING to do with "price comparison features" and to say this is a "value-add" is crazy. In my book - that's malware!
