- by BugSplatter, 2 months agoRated 5 out of 5Thanks for your time and quick response.
I took a serious look at your suggestion. It's very precise and probably 100% failproof.
Maybe in a future situation i might use it, but personally -for now- i still prefer rtlxl.nl bc:
1. i'm a bit lazy with this 2. it looks simple 3. i just ignore the "." 4. the odds are good enough for me
but nevertheless, thanks
Fixed: This extension is great, but since the last update something doesn't work anymore like it used to before: On rtlxl.nl/gemist ('rtlxl.nl' regex is set in the options) AC still clicks the "Meer rtl..."-buttons everytime with a repeat set in the options, but not anymore after i switch to another day of the week. Can you please fix that?Developer response
posted 2 months agoMade a tipo in the regex, sorry. This should be correct now:
Suggestion: ^https:\/\/www\.rtlxl\.nl\/.*

Should be fix in Version 1.10.2,
Also you might want to consider refining your regular expression a little, to prevent accidental matches with other domains.

I'll try to make it work again.
I just hope that nobodys workflow already depends on this new behaviour.
Otherwise i'll be getting the inverted bug report next, which would be funny ... but also kind of hard to resolve.

I think i know what the issue is.
When no more elements are available the button gets removed and currently AC stops after a couple of retries.
I think since now we have a Max Repetions options ... i could see the default being to retry forever.

I'll try to reproduce and debug your issue.
Also for the future it would be nice if you could use the export function so i dont have to copy and paste so much. ;) Thanks. - by AleshaA, 2 months agoRated 5 out of 5Many thanks working
Previously stood 6 and worked
Many thanks
После последнего обновление перестал работать на некоторых сайтах. например dosya.tc и д.р. селектор у них не менялся.
sorry
After the last update stopped working on some sites. For example, Dosya.tc and D.R. The selector did not change.

button - Dosyayı indir - selector - #downloadDeveloper response
posted 2 months agoNo problem. Glad i could help.
Have a nice day.

It seems that the download button has a countdown before it can be clicked on.
By setting the "Inital Delay" to a high enough value of "8000",
everything seems to work fine. Meaning the button got clicked and the download started.
Hope this info helps.

If you share the rule that is not working for you,
i'll try to reproduce and debug the issue.
If you like you can also open an issue on the "Support Page",
but it's also fine if you just post it here. - by codeIMperfect, 3 months agoRated 5 out of 5Super nice!!
Regex URL part was a bit confusing tho and should be clarified with some examples but Dev's reply on an issue over on GitHub helped meDeveloper response

And you are absolutely right, the addon has grown quite a bit ... and i'll definetly have to add some more documentation (maybe on the github wiki pages) together with some examples. Sorry for the trouble. - by lukashettmannsperger, 3 months agoRated 5 out of 5It's a great tool, that is saving sooo much precious time! Thanks a lot 😍

No problem. Glad it's useful.
> Is there a possibility to stop the repeating execution of tasks / clicks after a certain number of cues / a certain time automatically?
No yet. but I have opened an issue for your request here:
https://github.com/igorlogius/automate-click/issues/18
and i'll see what i can do about it.
And Thanks again for the review. - by Firefox user 17273718, 3 months agoRated 4 out of 5Bare bones add-on that does what it says it will do, and nothing more. Easy enough to configure once you get the hang of it, and does exactly what it's instructed to do. However, it's lacking in some quality of life features that would make it a bit less of a chore to use, if you're juggling several actions. I'd like an option to group rules together in folders, maybe even turn them all on or off at once. My list of rules is growing a bit long.
Occasionally, an enabled rule will not trigger, thought it might have to do with how quickly the elements on a webpage load. It's easy enough to either refresh the page or manually do what you wanted it to do.
Also, as of this writing, the feature to re-order rules does not work. I've re-ordered my rules and clicked "save changes" several times, but opening the tab puts them back into the default order. This doesn't affect its function, it's just a minor annoyance.
EDIT: Added star for dev response :)Developer response

I kind of want that last Star. :)

All Features you requested have been added in Version 1.8.0
and i took the liberty of also adding a Tags column you can filter by.
Tags are case sensitive, and need to be seperated with spaces or commas
Hope that alleviates your troubles with organizing the rules as you like.

Sorry, if you are having some UI/X issues.
I recently completely re-build the options UI and there might be some dragons around.
I'll create some github issues for the points you mentioned and see what i can do about them.
1. [Feature Request] add a way to group rules
2. [Feature Request] add a way to toggle the Enabled state of grouped rules
3. [Feature Request] make rules table remember the manual sorting order
Hope i did not miss anything, but feel free let me know, either here or on the "Support Site".
And thanks for the Review and Feedback. - by Firefox user 13971682, 4 months agoRated 5 out of 5now we can make it click faster! NOW its amazing

- by Firefox user 17096261, 7 months agoRated 5 out of 5It does exactly what I needed, click on a refresh button on a bad designed ui that didn't refresh its content after a reload. Great add on. Thanks!
- by Pantoffelheld und Prahlhans bauchpinseln Mumpitz., 8 months agoRated 5 out of 5keep it running! 🤩
.recaptcha-checkbox-border - by Remington, 8 months agoRated 5 out of 5I can't use the web without this addon, anymore. It's a hidden gem!
I've been using it to automate every tedious and repetitive click.
Imagine having Youtube switch to fullscreen automatically when you click play, then exit fullscreen upon completion of a video.
As far as I know, this is the only addon like it. I hope it exists FOREVER.Developer response
posted 8 months agoThank you for the feedback.
It is really interesting and helpful to read/hear how people are using this addon.
I never even thought of using it for youtube video control automation.
So thank you very much for sharing this interesting idea/usecase. - by MADsadFATcat, 10 months agoRated 1 out of 5
- by Firefox user 15489389, 10 months agoRated 5 out of 5I confused myself as the settings say "seconds" but it is actually milliseconds. Works for one click, would love a way to have it continuously click.
Developer response
posted 10 months agoYou are right, i did mislabel the time column! How embarassing. I'll fix that.
Regarding the "continuously clicking" ...
I might be able to either add it as a feature to this addon, or make a differnt addon for it.
You can add an issue on github as a reminder for me and we can exchange more specifics there. - by earlyistimeless, 2 years agoRated 5 out of 5Thanks, this is just what I was looking for! Just specify the accept button's selector, fine-tune the timing (in ms) of the action (otherwise the action might happen before it has loaded) and finally specify the url to be applied on. It works like a charm on Discogs where both the homepage and the loginpage gives you a popup, previously very infuriating :)
