Hi,
good add-on. I use FF 4.0 and noticed the following things.
1. Hiding does not not start immediately if i disable the hide delay.
2. The Bookmark toolbar always pops-up when i switch between the tabs. Maybe u can implement a configurable hover location
3. When i enable the CTRL option, the toolbar is always hidden and never appears.

Great addon, but! It would be great if you add an option that allows to show bookmarks-toolbar WITHOUT pressing CTRL or any other key. All we'd have to do is just moving mouse over ANY other bar in Firefox and bookmarks will show themself and hide after several seconds.

Thanx, hope you'll pay your attention.

Works also without CTRL key :)

Hey Don-Petrushka,First of all, thanks for downloading and reviewing.Second: if you use Firefox 4, press F10 so that the main menu appears, goto Tools -> Autohide Bookmarks. There you have the options and you can disable the CTRL key, also change timings.Hope it helps, Radu.

Great add-on. Very useful, works like a charm on Firefox 4. It would be cool if you wanted to do something similar for add-on bar. Also... if you could implement opening new empty tab with bookmarks bar unhidden, that would be the best. But I don't know if it is even possible.

I wish there was an option options window where the delay and keys options may be set.
To have it work without holding Ctrl, then it would be perfect

Autohide in Fullscreen Rated 4 out of 5 stars

Would it be possible to add Autohide functionality while in full-screen mode. I'd like to be able to pop open my bookmarks while full-screen.

Thanks

Works as advertised, looks very nice not having my book marks always around. Though I wish there was an option to have it work without holding Ctrl, then it would be perfect :)

Never mind(and sorry) I found "Hide Bookmarks Bar" that does exactly what I wished.

Here is my feedback. I often use a netbook and the vertical space is very limited. I also use "MultirowBookmarks toolbar" with 3 rows. On my netbook, I'm a mouser, not much a keyboarder. With "ToolbarButtons", it is a lot easier the be a mouser and add convenient buttons to the menu. Would be nice to have a button to hide/show the bookmarks toolbar.
Thanks!

I would like to have a button to show bookmarks with it and then it will hide, after i click bookmark oк this button again. Not need to hover and wait. In fact, i can't hover over the touchscreen with my finger!

The most, IMHO,convenient way to hide bookmarks bar and to unhide when it's needed!

Great addon, thanks!

A nice feature would be to automatically shows up the bookmarks when we open a new tab.

Great add-on, but doesn't seem to work with MultirowBookmarksToolbar (could also be the other way round)

Nice! can we have a configurable delay to show? It's somewhat annoying to have the bookmarks bar show by just going to the menu. If a delay was possible (like 1 second in zone to show) it will be perfect for me.

Thanks for the good work!

This add-on is perfect on my netbook! It's exactly what I needed. Being able to adjust the time delay and the ctrl key requirement was a nice touch.

Fantastic plug-in. Since version 1.1, the bookmarks toolbar will not hide while the mouse is within the menu - which is awesome. In the options, maybe it would be better to say, "Require CTRL key to unhide the bookmarks.", instead of "Enable"?

Great but lacks a few essentials Rated 4 out of 5 stars

This is so useful, especially if you're on a netbook and any screen real-estate you can muster is worthwhile.
My only discrepancy is that I wish there were a way to edit the autohide delay length. It would be nice if we could use a custom time instead of strictly using 2 seconds.

Also, I would like the option of having the bar remain unhidden when the cursor is on the menu area. It's sometimes irritating when trying to drag items or tabs into specific folders on the bookmark toolbar, and it disappears before I could make the drop.

There should also be a hotkey to toggle between autohide and permanently exposed. This would make organizing your bookmark toolbar easier without having to disable and restart and then re-enable and restart again.

This addon would be perfect if we could customize the delay time, toggle autohide, and if the bar didn't disappear while the mouse is still on the menu. I might be tempted to remove this if those characteristics prove too impractical.

Thank you for this!

Update

Please stay tuned for version 1.1 which will be available in 3-4 days for all those options.
