AuraLock — Website Blocker & Focus by Durga Gairhe

AuraLock is a calm, intentional browsing extension. Instead of punishing blocked sites, AuraLock helps you decide what deserves your attention, then protects that choice with a soft boundary until your focus session ends.

HOW IT WORKS

1. CREATE AN AURA
   Use the guided 6-step wizard to build your focus session:
   • Purpose — Deep Work, Study, Reading, Creative, or Custom
   • Websites — Pick distracting sites to block from curated categories (Social Media, Video, News, Shopping, Entertainment, Messaging) or add your own
   • Duration — 10 to 60 minutes with quick presets
   • Boundary — Standard (flexible: pause, extend, emergency exit) or Strict (fully committed, no way out)
   • Schedule — Repeat on chosen days at a set time with optional Autopilot
   • Review — Summary card with option to save as a Quick Focus preset
2. ENTER YOUR AURA
   Once started, blocked sites redirect to a calm "Waiting Outside" page showing your remaining time. Everything else works normally.
3. STAY FOCUSED
   • Live countdown timer with SVG progress ring
   • Pause and resume (Standard mode)
   • Extend by 10 minutes when you're in flow
   • Emergency checkpoint with math challenge (Standard mode)

PRIVACY

AuraLock stores everything locally on your device. No data is ever sent to any server. The extension does not track you, serve ads, or collect analytics. Host permissions are required only to redirect blocked sites during an active session.
