I'm not usually a defender of Amazon, but Loquacious1's carping makes little sense to me. Amazon or any merchant could just deliver a fixed portion of its revenues to charity--but its choice to put this slight burden on users who select the charity (at no cost to those users), far from being "sleazy," is hugely more generous than all its competitors who don't offer any option of the kind. - Rated 5 out of 5by Loquacious1, 4 years agoThank you! It irks when I order from Amazon and I'm not on the Smile URL and place an order that doesn't donate to my charity of choice. I've cancelled so many orders and reordered resulting. Why Amazon doesn't have a setting to always order through Smile in our accounts is sleazy and that they only donate for our first subscribe n save orders is worse. This helps level the playing field! YAY
