This extension works pretty great, but TABS ON TOP is missing.
Beautiful, and makes Firefox look perfect in GNOME Shell, but it's missing the icon for the new Pocket integration.
Also, I like that combined with the HTitle addon it has the GNOME Shell style close button on the toolbar.
Seems like the XPI needs to be recompiled to work with 39.0a2
Very nice! Exactly what I needed!
The absolute best.
This is looking so good with Gnome 3.14! By tweaking it can look almost native. I hope it gets ported to Thunderbird someday... Thunderbird is in real need of some gnomification
I'm using Ubuntu Gnome 14.04 and for me it have graet integration with user interface! Best Mozilla Theme I used ever!! I'm serious!
Allows for a consistent desktop theme.
Excellent ! Merci.
Although the green bar (like the one that appears when you have new messages) or inactive tabs is not as visible as it used to be.
great theme, looks awesome in gnome 3+
As a Gnome user, this theme is mandatory for me. I love it when all my applications look a like. - But same as Gnome Desktop, lack of optionality is something I really hate and with the latest updates, we've lost many useful options.
Now, I love the way it looks right now; So latest update didn't affect me at all. I've realized the changes when I wanted to change the Open Menu icon from Three Lines back to Gear. It was gone alongside with tab position and few others.
I don't understand these decision. I don't understand them all. It hurts to see that we're still at that Terminal losing it's transparency effect debate a long while ago. These options may seem unnecessary to some people, but to some people -even the ones like me who really don't care- these options or even the idea of having more options still matters.
Please bring these options back. Advance the abilities this theme has. - This theme and it's tweak tool are what makes my Firefox Experience with Gnome Desktop flawless.
Please consider this post.
Keep the good work up!
Was pretty happy with this until many essential options were removed. Had to revert back to 33.1b1 at https://launchpad.net/gnome-integration/firefox-gnome/firefox-gnome-releases and disable automatic updates since I'm on GNOME 3.10. For shame.
Last update is pretty confusing. I'll better switch to Australis now
Guys, the 33.1 update is brilliant! I like the simplistic tab panel design.
You guys have brought me back to Firefox with your brilliant UI.
I really really really love this theme. I just installed it in my Firefox 32.0.2. So, if anyone who feels uncomfortable with Australis, and also is using whatever GNOME, KDE, XFCE or even Windows, can have a try this. Strongly recommended.
This is a great theme that integrates Firefox pretty seamlessly into Gnome 3.
Through its companion extension it provides many options, mimicking the appearance of Web (Epiphany) complete with 3.12+ styled tabs.
I loved this theme on previous versions of Firefox. Please update for FF 31.0!
Thanks! It has been updated, but we have been waiting on Mozilla to approve it. Hopefully they do so soon.
Meanwhile, we have releases in parallel at https://github.com/gnome-integration-team/firefox-gnome/releases — but if you use one of these, then Firefox won't auto-update anymore. (You'd need to re-install from Mozilla Add-ons here to get it to auto-update.) Most of the time, old versions of the theme will work with newer versions of Firefox; usually it's only the developer tools that get a bit messed up (if anything)... but that's because they have been going through quite a few (and great!) changes each release.
The alternative is to just keep waiting a bit longer. (I wish they were a bit quicker at approving the theme; there's a lag every cycle because of this — sometimes it's a few days, but it's even been several weeks before.)
could you please update this for firefox 31, this is so simple and beautiful
Neat idea, but sadly doesn't leave space to middle-click (for sending windows to the background). Middle-clicking in the tab bar restores a closed tab.
Also shows the minimize and restore buttons that are hidden on normal gnome windows.
Where are you looking for space to middle click? There's a titlebar just like every other app — the theme alone can't change that for Firefox. The titlebar is also where window controls like minimize are located, if one enables them (which are not on by default, and we have no control over).
Could you share a screenshot from somewhere? From your description, this doesn't sound like our theme at all, unless some extensions you've installed might be doing some very odd things and getting in the way.
If you could file an issue at https://github.com/gnome-integration-team/firefox-gnome/issues/new — we'd be happy to look into your problem and help address it.
I like the theme, but it won't play well with ColorfulTabs, which I use. The tab colors are overwritten by the theme. Maybe an option to omit the setting of the tabcolor in the options extension would help
EDIT: The Gnome 3.12 Style Tabs work perfectly
Due to the way the tabs are implemented, I'm pretty sure it's not possible to recolor the tabs.
However, in the new GNOME 3.12-style version of the theme (currently in development), for Firefox 29 (and higher), implements tabs differently, and I think it would both respect theme colors better (for 3rd party themes) as well as support recoloring.
If you are running Firefox 29 and would like to try out the new style tabs in a beta test version of the theme, we have a link to a test XPI as well as instructions at https://github.com/gnome-integration-team/firefox-gnome/issues/241 — it works fine for us and several others, but there is a report of things going a little wacky with at least one person's system, so "your mileage may vary" (ymmv).
Meanwhile, I have opened up a feature request on our issue tracker: https://github.com/gnome-integration-team/firefox-gnome/issues/244
Excelente tema me encanta que se adapta a i gnome 3 en fedora
Very nice. Black version needed !
Excellent theme. Using this add-on, along with HTitle, makes Firefox better than Chromium on Linux. Thank you!
