Necessary extensions, should be in the original package!
But please, please update it to Firefox3.
...to release a version for the alpha of Firefox 3 rather than the release version of Firefox 3. I suspect that's why the release version is refusing this add-on at the current time.
Giving it five stars based on the addon as a whole. Eagerly await a true FF3 version of the addon.
I second the previous.
Please make this very usefull extension work also in Firefox3.
please update this great extension to make it work with Firefox 3
Daniel's Add Bookmark for 3 on his site doesn't work. Well, not for me, it doesn't - same with the Taiwanese feller's Bookmark Here 2 and no paste and go for 3 neither. Seems Firefox 3 is a swine to change to....
I was wondering if you are going to provide an upgrade for Firefox 3 please. I do not like the alternatives but love ABH.
Very nice add on wouldn't add bookmarks anyother way, and for anyone else his devsite has a alpha ver for 3.0
i would love to be able to scroll down my bookmarks to an category (folder)of mine and if needed be able to ad a folder and then without having to scroll again add my bookmark. yes.. many folders if needed.
It would be lovely if i could also DRAG AROUND FOLDERS AND BOOKMARKS LIKE A MADMAN WHEN IM IN THE MOOD. i BELONG TO THE ONES THATH HATES EDITING ANYTHING IN AFTER HAND. I DISLIKE THE BOOKMARK MANAGER THING.
I love it, the other Bookmark Here 2 sucks, so the original rocks!
This is the single essential add-on that completes Firefox. There are other extensions which are nice to have, but I can't live without ABH.
Fwiw the "Add Bookmark Here 2" is a rip-off of the name. Shame! This, the real ABH, is simple, non-intrusive, and does exactly what's needed and no more.
I haven't tried it, so I'm not in the condition of writing a review. I rate it 6 for the intention: only 6, anyway, because it seems a little useless to me (to add a bookmark inside a particular folder, it's enough to drag-and-drop the tab in that folder, as probably everybody already knows).
A much more useful tool, on the contrary, would be one which allow you to manage the functionality that add that little icon from the website the bookmark points to.
I'd like, for example, to be able to quickly, say, "turn off" that function, to obtain that the icons won't show themselves anymore, until perhaps I should decide differently in some future time, and finally to erase all the icons currently stored there.
Actually, if one opens the 'bookmarks.html' with any text editor, one sees that much more than 50% of the "weight" of the file, in terms of the charachters it is composed of, is made of the code which defines the micro-icons.
Is it possible, once and for all, to have a tool which allows you to bypass that stupid functionality, which for me is definitely of no use?
... coming from years of Opera, I always found Firefox very unintuitive.
A very good concept and an exceptionally excellent idea since I tend to save bookmarks in custom made folders in the bookmarks list; however, my very first attempt to use it it caused Firefox to crash so I un-installed it.
Hi, could you to add our french localization, Thanks.
This is the best solution I've seen for keeping your bookmarks organized from the start. As you add folders to your bookmarks list, this add-on makes it a snap to categorize a new bookmark by just navigating to the desired folder and selecting "Add Bookmark Here". An elegantly simple solution for dropping a new bookmark into an existing folder.
