12 million users and the developer of this add-on has finally caved to the financial temptations of advertising companies.

This new version does two things terribly wrong:

1.) Instead of implementing the new "feature" of acceptable ads by having it deactivated by default, we get an opt-out function. I'm convinced that half the people who updated their add-ons lately thought that there was an error somewhere in AdBlock Plus.

2.) For some strange reason, the add-on is even slower than before. In version 1.3.x it was already the slowest extension I've been using, but now it's even worse.

Sorry Wladimir, but I won't use this anymore, both because it's finally reached a point where it's more bother than it's worth, but also out of principle! I had donated in the past and I'm very disappointed in this development. Maybe I'll get myself an Ad Muncher license now.

This review is for a previous version of the add-on (2.0.1).
