Really cool plugin! Rated 5 out of 5 stars

I searched for something that will implement coffescript support in firebug and found this. This is amazing! I love vim so very excited to use the same bindings in firebug. Awesome!

This is a fantastic addition to Firebug! Especially with the fact that you can use VIM keybindings!

Nice enhancement to the firebug console Rated 5 out of 5 stars

I wish the history menu kept more entries for previous console snippets. Other than that it's nearly perfect.

save errors Rated 4 out of 5 stars

I am going to Resources and edit some JS. After I am trying save (with replace old one) I got errors that it can be overwrite it. Looking like it found itself locking file and can't unlock it.

Plus quick save needed. It would be good if page refresh will happened in the same time. Change code, save, refresh.

customize themes via "Stylish" Rated 4 out of 5 stars

It's great Add-on, but when I set Theme to "Monokai", I can't see the span of selected text. :-(

Then, I found it possible to customize themes via "Stylish". :-)

*attention: the @namespace is not "url(http://www.mozilla.org/keymaster/gatekeeper/there.is.only.xul);" but "url(http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml);". It seems to be strange for me.

*my Stylish setting (it aslo fixes faint sidebar):
@namespace url(http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml);

@-moz-document url(chrome://acebug/content/ace++/fbeditor.html){
div.ace-monokai .ace_selection{
background: #666 !important;
}
div.ace-monokai .ace_selected_word{
border: 1px solid #ccc !important;
border-radius:2.5px !important;
}
div.ace-monokai .ace_active_line{
background: #333 !important;
}
div.ace-monokai .ace_comment{
color:#999 !important;
}
div.ace_editor>.ace_sb>div{
background: -moz-linear-gradient(left top 0grad, #fff, #ccc) !important;
border:1px solid #999 !important;
}
}

report a bug~ Rated 4 out of 5 stars

hi man ,

when I install it this morning, I find it a powerful tool;
but later I found that when I got a script error in console Tab, I clicked it, the source code Page poped,
it should be showed in script tab.
that may be a bug.

thank you for your tools , wish the bug fixed.

god bless you ~~~~

This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.8.1).

thank you for the bug report
but are you sure it is caused by acebug?

i've tested with firebug 1.9 and console errors behave that way without acebug too

Loving Acebug Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Great tool, it gives my console javascript super powers.

One recommendation for a future version would be making the resources tab like Chrome's script where you can edit the js in the browser and override what is on the server. This would greatly speed up js development because you would be able to edit exactly what you want as opposed to overwriting entire sections of code via dropping them in the console.

Keep on doing the good work.

great idea!

can you create issue at tracker or mail me (amirjanyan at gmail dot com) to discuss details?

Well, I was looking forward to working with this tool, but sadly, I can't seem to get it to do anything.

Other than this app showing-up in my add-ons list, it doesn't appear to do anything to Firebug. I'm running Firefox 5 and Firebug 1.8.0b6.

This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.5).

hi
thank you for bug report.

but this happened due to changes introduced in firebug 1.8.0b5
and is already fixed in main repo
please try new version of acebug when it's ready (it will be on AMO before the next week)

and please use support site for error reports,
thanks

Wow. really good plugin. will be better if this also coloring JS in firebug script pane

This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.4).

GusDeCooL: Ideally we will be using Ace in almost all of the Firebug panels and even using it to add new ones so I am glad we are thinking along the same lines.
