Tested on Nightly with a new profile and only this addon added.
No tabs are listed under Open Tabs...
There are no recent reviews, so I just want to note that, in contrast to what the last review says, it does still work with my 500+ open tabs (and at times a 60MB sessionstore file).
And it is doing a pretty good job at displaying the data.
Column sorting and manual inspection of the JSON values would be nice, but I certainly wouldn't spend time on that, given that this add-on will stop working in Firefox 57.
I have Firefox 34 with a large number of tabs. The add-on didn't do what was described and provided almost no useful information. I uninstalled it immediately.
This was a great add-on; it is still useful, but it no longer displays tab information in Firefox 36.0, and I think v35, and maybe even v32 too. Please fix this for us!
Exactly as described. Working on FF 38.0a1 (I have not tested with E10S mode though)
Very nice tool. Works like a charme (FF 36)
It seems that it has some trouble with e10s, though. (current nightly) It can't show the tab information yet.
This is a very nice addon, providing exactly the information the author notes in his description. The only thing less than completely glowing I could say about it is that the user needs to know that "About:sessionstore" is not only the title of the addon, but is the way to ACCESS it! When I installed it, I saw a little icon pop up on the addressbar, and I thought that clicking that icon would be the way to access the information. But then the icon disappeared, egads! I finally realized that just as you can reach a configuration page by typing "about:config" in the addressbar, this sessionstore information page is reached by typing "about:sessionstore" in the addressbar. D'oh!
Lotsa interesting and useful information summarized very nicely by this addon. Five stars and two thumbs up!!
good layout and fast.
Over the preceding 4 wks (mid Sep '13 to mid Oct '13) my sessionstore.js grew from 2MB to 100MB and the browser became sluggish (currently using FF 24.0). After using about:sessionstore to delete the entries for closed tabs and closed windows sessionstore.js now 350KB. All my saved tabs (over 100 in 3 windows) appear to be present and unharmed, and everything is working fine. (I did keep backup copies of my swollen original sessionstore.js and recommend anyone testing & using this extension does the same as it is a good idea to have a copy anyway in case of problems anytime). Thanks for the extension!
