Fantastic speed and accuracy. I'd love a way to save long pages as a set of images (either specified size or specified aspect ratio) rather than one very tall image.

It would be great if it could save page in grayscale colors !

It's OK, but it doesn't support horizontal scrolling, so some pages cannot be fully captured as images.

No flash, no copy Rated 4 out of 5 stars

Nice add-on, but unfortunately does not capture flash on my platform (FF3, XP SP2, Flash 9.0 r124). The option to copy would be nice too.

Does't work with flash pages Rated 5 out of 5 stars

It's a very useful plug-in, I like it a lot, but it would be great if it could capture flash pages also..

Thank you!

Flash

Capturing flash seems to be hit or miss, for example I can capture flash on OSX, but on my Linux boxes I get blank spaces instead.\r\n\r\nI believe this stems from the implementation of flash, on some systems it doesn\'t seem to be able to provide a static image. Of course, if you want you could take a screenshot of the flash area and merge it with the abduction image... might be a bit much work though.

This is an excellent extension and IMHO it's the best screengrab addon for Firefox. It does what it's supposed to do and it does it well. Like alve67, I too would welcome to addition of a (preferably optional) toolbar button but I don't mind the "right click" thing too much.

Oh, and just a quick heads up: the website listed under support gives a 404.

Very handy for Web-Development discussions, creating FAQ documents, etc. . . Unlike standard screenshot/screengrab programs, Abduction can take a snapshot of the FULL webpage -- not just the piece of the site that you're seeing on your screen at any given time.

I like Abduction much better than Screengrab or FireShot, except for the lack of a toolbar button, which for me is a must have

Works with my FF3.0.1! Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Even though the "Options" button (and right-clicking "Visit Home Page") are dimmed-out, version 2.026 works quite well with Firefox 3.0.1!

When you are on a page that you'd like to capture, simply right-click anywhere and choose "Save Page As Image..." and it will open a 2nd window. Here I found my Options including Color Selection, Opacity, and 4 Format settings: PNG High and JPEG Low, Med, High.

You can select the entire page or "crop" any portion you like to Save... quick and easy!

Thanks!

Abduction works really fine and could hardly be simpler to use ; I'm not giving 4 stars because FireShot exists and allows me to add shapes and notes to the my screenshots.

Great Utility, need update Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Superb screen capture utility, best add-on for part-screen capture I could find. Hope it will be updated to work with FF 3.0.1 soon!

Excellent facility, which I use continuously. Not sure why the Options is not available (Firefox 2.0.0.15) Hopefully when 3 can use my other add-ons I may find out why. Impact - save defaults to png I would like to set it to jpeg all the time. Many thanks

No Toolbar Button Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Absolutely awesome application... Love the context menu integration except that it took me 3 months of having abduction installed before I figured out how to save an image....

How about adding a toolbar button for the not so bright people :-)
