Now it supports Fx3 I'm happy again! Rated 5 out of 5 stars

I was so sad when I upgraded to the current Fx 3 beta 5 on my laptop, and couldn't get Aardvark 2 to work properly. I depend on the ease of Aardvark to tidy up pages prior to printing, and I was lost without it. It is one of my three must-have addons (NoScript and AdBlock Plus are the other two). Thanks for the new update!

Bob.

Really nice and handy Rated 5 out of 5 stars

I love this extension, because it is easy to use, helps both developers and users. The only thing I'd suggest is a more intuitive way to stop 'ardvarking'. (I'm a vi user, so 'q' is all right with me. :) )
Thank you for this nice add-on Rob.

I *love* this! Rated 4 out of 5 stars

This has been one of the top 3 most valuable extensions to me. I do a lot of medical research on the net, so it is invaluable to me to be able to get JUST the research papers, text, and data, and NOT all the ads and links and garbage that many sites are unfortunately littered with. I need to be able to print them so I can study them, and to save them in a neat, professional, compact manner.

This, in conjunction with Scrapbook, have made my life a lot easier. There is no other extension I know of that does what Aardvark does.

I downgraded for 3 reasons: 1) it took me a while to figure out what it does, and how to make it do what I wanted constistently. So it would help if there was a little more clarity & guidance in the instructions up front. I almost gave up before realizing its beauty ("Where are these red boxes coming from? How do I get rid of them?"). 2) I have had some problems with re-flowing pages (though it sounds there is a way to do that better now), 3) I wish you could have Aardvark do something that Clipmarks does-- be able to pick more than 1 area and isolate them. Sometimes I want only the title, author, and text, but must take the whole chunk that includes all 3, and then remove all the rest by hand.

Problems with Isolate Rated 4 out of 5 stars

This seems pretty cool. But I am having problems with isolate. When I hit 'i', nothing happens.

Clean and inspect pages Rated 4 out of 5 stars

This is a handy add-on for inspecting page elements and cleaning them up before printing or saving with the Scrapbook add-on.

Can reflow a page before printing Rated 4 out of 5 stars

If you want to print only a part of a web page to minimize the number of pages required for printing:
- select the part, with 'wider' and 'narrower'
- remove everything else, with 'isolate'
- reflow the page, with 'dewidthify'
And voilà! :)

This rocks ! Rated 5 out of 5 stars

It isn't often I enthuse about anything, but Aardvark is one of them. It won't be useful to everyone, or most people on a daily basis, but it allows you to remove "clutter" from a page for printing etc.

Another handy thing with this is its' interaction with another plugin called RIP, which will allow you to remove the adverts from a site permanently - RIP on its' own isn't particularly user friendly, but with Aardvark it's a breeze, as it writes the advert filters for you !

Very useful when printing! Rated 5 out of 5 stars

This odd named and often overlooked extension is useful in a number of ways, but none more then prepping to print parts of web pages. Aardvark "cleans up" web pages of the stuff you don't want to print by temporarily deleting the material. When the page reloads the material reappears. For print crazy Firefox users this extension can save you ink and remove a lot of the extraneous junk that clutters a page.
