Very usefull Rated 5 out of 5 stars

This extension should be available on Thunderbird also. I am always switching between Firefox and Thunderbird so this will be very convenient.

Should be core of all apps. Doesnt work in e10s Rated 4 out of 5 stars

This way of scrolling should be a part of all apps. It works with latest firefox 48, 32 & 64bit, But it doesnt work in e10s (multiprocess firefox turned on). Is there one out there that works?

Love it! Rated 4 out of 5 stars

Would like to see factor scrolling for acrobat mode; a simple text box to multiply scroll by, allowing 0.5 for half speed, 2.0 for double speed, etc.

Personally, I'd use probably triple the speed; I have no need for accuracy in scrolling, I just don't want to have to repeat mouse up, mouse down, mouse up... You get the idea.

My forefinger LOVES it!! Rated 5 out of 5 stars

I knew there was something like this out there, but could never find it. I would go to bed with my forefinger sore from scrolling through countless pages of documents. I could have used the page up or down like I do at work, but at home is where my couch is!

Was amazing, but needs an update! Rated 5 out of 5 stars

This is the best addon for any browser. It should be a standard feature in every scrollable element in every UI, in my opinion. I mean, there's no reason not to. The default middle-click action in Firefox is useless and disruptive.

However, this doesn't work in Firefox 42 yet. It needs an update! I find myself going to use it by right-clicking and dragging and feeling something awful in the pit of my stomach when it doesn't work after having used it for so many years. It got an update with an earlier version fairly recently and now it needs one more.

Maybe work on detecting if drag is coming from touchscreen, and only respond to touch drags, not mouse.

Please fix for multiprocess Developer Edition 42.

best addon for easy scrolling.

mixed results, poor right click handling Rated 3 out of 5 stars

it feels kinda slow to me. also, doesn't handle Right mouse button smartly like it once used to. ScrollbarAnywhere worked best in Firefox 1 and 2, (yes, thats how long i've been using it) then firefox updated beyond compatibility and i switched to Gesture addon that had similar functionality integrated. then finally switched to Grab and Drag. i modded Grab and Drag to have crazy amount of acceleration and as a result is snappy like the way scrollbaranywhere used to be. while G&D's handling of right clicks isn't perfect, its still better than what we have here. the problem is Scrollbar Anywhere should extent timeout of the context menu the moment you begin scrolling until after the right button is released to avoid accidental context menu trigger or something like that. Scrollbars wants to do both when i let go of the right button. i only want to see the context menu when i right click, not when i right click and scroll. i don't want to see the context menu pop up after every dam time i scroll the page, Scollbars addon never used to do that back in the day. Will keep it as is, but hoping the creator can figure out a clever way to address the right click context menu.

The best as it is. Could use a small feature to be even more glorious. Rated 5 out of 5 stars

I've been using this extension for years and now every browser that does not have it feels clumsy. My only minor issue with it is that in the default (not Acrobat Reader) mode scrolling speed sometimes becomes too high on unreasonably long pages - forums tend to have them. One wrong move and it all flies away. Something like a cap for the maximum scrolling speed would be great.

Very useful and much better than Grab And Drag add-on. I can't believe this is not a standard built-in feature..

Brilliant - you've saved my sanity! Rated 5 out of 5 stars

I've been practically crying with frustration over the horrible jumpy little blob that Apple have put in place of a scroll bar - I did an idle search thinking that there was nothing out there, and found this! (Apple - take note - this is what YOU should be using as standard!!)

(Update - great when it works, which isn't always?! But it's still far far better than the existing one.)

Works great on FF 29; far more useful than built in "Autoscroll"

Worth mentioning that if you wish to use the middle mouse button as trigger you must disable Firefoxe's Autoscroll feature on User Preferences - Advanced - General otherwise they'll conflict

One of the smallest but great add-on's for FireFox! Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Great addon and is a very effective add-on. Simply press your right mouse button and move your mouse movement to scroll. This feature is something that should of been in browsers by default many moons ago. Great add-on that uses a very tiny amount of background resources. Must have add-on... Microsoft,Chrome,Opera and FireFox dev's take notice!!

PS: Does have options to change to a different mouse button and a few other options. Would like to see more options added but hey..its great the way it is because its not a resource hog, those things tend to add up over time the more things you add.

Very practical Rated 5 out of 5 stars

I stumbled upon this add-on while searching something completely unrelated. I decided to try it and now I can't believe I've never heard of it before.

It's really convenient.

I'm used to using the mouse wheel to do my scrolling, but this gives me a lot more control, especially when I want scroll through large portions of the page at the same time.

Thanks and congratulations on a job well done!

On a click-by-click basis... Rated 5 out of 5 stars

...This is probably my most-used extension. Hands down. And that is out of the 70+ add-ons I use. At less than 10KB, it is incredibly lightweight yet equally powerful. Five stars.
