Answer to jjdickson Rated 4 out of 5 stars
@jjdickson: I had the same "problem" the first time. If you only use bookmarks or URL typed in the address bar, nothing will appear, because there are no relationship between web pages.
Try doing a research on a search engine, follow the links and after a few jumps, you should see a graph appear on the Collusion page. For more items in the graph (for testing purposes), click on links on news pages, social networks, advertised links and you will see a bunch of circles.
Privacy issue Rated 4 out of 5 stars
I configured aurora (12.0a2) so that it will delete all browsing history when I close it and I was disappointed that my last week's collusion data were not deleted. So, I looked for an option to clear collusion data when closing aurora but could not find it (except the "reset graph" but it has to be done manually).
It would be great that you add this option (I may have missed it, however), because there are people who clear their history and want to know who's tracking them on the internet but don't want collusion to show this history. I understand that's more useful when it keeps data for a long period. But, when you use a shared computer, you want your firefox data to be totally wiped out when you close it and don't want to let any pieces of privacy behind you.
Apart from that, it's a very cool extension and it's great to see who's watching you, who's the "biggest brother".
What a mess! Rated 1 out of 5 stars
The 2.0 version was very good.
I got it updated this morning by automatic update and then it was a mess in my browser. Coloured and flashy popups every page I loaded. I tried to configure it so that it was less buggy, it made me change my master password: understand, I already have a master password, but there was a popup asking for a new master password and I changed it thinking it was for the extension and not the firefox one (no big deal, but it is messy). Every page brought a popup telling me how many cookies it had and so on, the feeling is almost similar to flash ads. It added 2 icons (status bar and toolbar) and several menu entries in tools menu.
It tried to make me uninstall ghostery and password maker, claiming it's doing the same things but better. Tried to import settings but never managed (it froze during the process). Once I had configured an ID, it tried to put it on every page with a form that could be filled (that's default settings), messing up with secured pages.
I uninstalled this mess, kept ghostery and better privacy which features correspond to my needs.
It used to be a cool extension but no longer.
Great extension but... Rated 5 out of 5 stars
I encountered a bug (same as other users) and tried to file a bug report on trac as advised here. I registered, but I'm not allowed to post a bug.
So here is a bug report, you can delete this comment after it's resolved:
Today, The weather forecast (icons, data, location) for my preferred location (Lyon, France (Rhone-Alpes): EUR|FR|FR022|LYON|) disappeared suddenly, although this location is [http://www.accuweather.com/world-index-forecast.asp?partner=forecastfox&traveler=0&loccode=EUR|FR|FR022|LYON still available on accuweather]. If I try to find code in forecasfox, no result is returned for Lyon. But the other locations I configured a long time ago are still correct (In France, Belgium and US).
I did not install anything new on my Firefox at this time.
Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:188.8.131.52) Gecko/2008120122 Firefox/3.0.5 and Forecast fox 0.9.8.
It seems that only certain locations are affected by this bug.
