Seems useful at first glance but... Rated 3 out of 5 stars
This addon is certainly useful and a smart idea, but only for those people who don't use uBlock or AdBlock. Or if they do but don't know how to use them...
Indeed, these latter addons can do the same thing either by enabling a blocklist named Fanboy's Anti-Thirdparty Social or by adding custom rules for that (my case).
The best weather forecast addon! Rated 5 out of 5 stars
Congratulations to the developer of this addon!
I really like the possibility to choose the set of weather icons to display. A little plus would be that users can customize their own icons sets.
Many options are available and they're all working with no lag and no required firefox restart.
I agree with previous comment that it would be nice to have settings and locations synchronised (through Firefox sync maybe?)
Anyway it deserves 5 stars as it is.
There's a trick! Rated 5 out of 5 stars
This module works perfectly for me. When it doesn't, (nothing appearing in both Agenda and tasks from Google) there is a trick to do :
Go to your profile folder (usually it's there : C:\Users\YourUserFolder\AppData\Roaming\Thunderbird\Profiles\YourThunderbirdProfile.default).
In that profile folder, open the folder named "calendar-data", delete everything in it (cache.sqlite something and deleted.sqlite) except the "backup" folder.
Close the open folders.
Restart Thunderbird and everything should be working fine.
Needs improvement with French language (and maybe other) Rated 4 out of 5 stars
This add-on is definitely a must-have. It works close to perfection and I really love it.
But since version 1.3.2 (not sure it was before), there are many untranslated strings from English to French. It is a bit annoying particularly in the menu triggered by the menu bar button : "Quitter" is replaced by "Exit" and some help sub-menu items are in English as well.
I tried to sniff around in the files contained in the xpi, made some language corrections in the options.dtd file (fr folder), but didn't find the strings I mentioned before to be corrected in other files.
Please fix it (or help me fix it). By the way I'd be happy to help translate future versions in French if you like.
Unfortunately... Rated 3 out of 5 stars
I've been using this great add-on for quite a while now. Unfortunately, it prevents Adblock Plus (starting from version 2.2.3) to show both in tools menu and add-on bar, as well as Add-on Compatibility Reporter, only in add-on bar. I know I shouldn't be writing about bugs here, but I thought I had to inform people using Adblock Plus as well as MasterPassword+. They have to revert to Adblock Plus version 2.2.2 so that it still shows like it's expected.
Oh I forgot: everything works fine in Thunderbird using both add-ons.
A useful button? Rated 3 out of 5 stars
This extension is most useful only for the ones who don't know how to create a shortcut to "about:sync-tabs" in their personal bar. It's pretty easy to right-click the personal bar, choose to create a new bookmark and type about:sync-tabs in the address field. Then the user might want to erase the name of this bookmark so that it looks exactly like your button!
Nevertheless, what might make your button a bit more interesting than this tip is that it can go in any firefox's bars, which is not the case of a bookmark.

Don't update this add-on. Delete the previous version and install the new. Indeed, the new version 1.5 works fine... except that I had to uninstall previous version 1.4.4 before to make it work properly. Also, the new version doesn't support my native language (french) while the previous did. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.5).
Solution for TB 3.0.1 Rated 4 out of 5 stars
The solution as proposed by baskak works indeed. Reported crashes can be worked around: on the first sync using funambol, you have to replace all present data (contacts, calendar events and tasks) with that from the server (recover command). Of course, consider to back up all these data before you proceed.
Beware that automatic sync and/or sync at startup can cause thunderbird to crash.
I successfully tested this solution both on Windows XP and 7.
