Note: This is a fork of the original "Online Dictionary Helper" project, updated with new features and optimizations by a new maintainer.

Online Dictionary Helper translates words and phrases while you read webpages. Simply hover or select text to see definitions with context sentences, and send them to your local Anki for spaced repetition.

New Features in this Fork:
- Android Firefox Support: Adapted and fixed compatibility issues for Firefox on Android.
- Dark Mode: Choose between "System", "Light", or "Dark" themes. Includes smart color inversion to keep hardcoded dictionary syntax legible on dark backgrounds.
- Toast Notifications: Replaced old icons with clear visual pop-ups showing exact success (with deck name), duplicate, or error statuses after creating a card.
- Selection Word Limit: Set an upper word limit (with accurate CJK text counting) to prevent browser lag from accidentally selecting massive paragraphs.
- Custom AnkiConnect Address: Added support for remote Anki databases by allowing custom IP and port configuration.
- Performance Optimizations:Added event throttling to frequent mouse/scroll interactions.Added an LRU cache for audio instances to prevent memory leaks.
