A Firefox Essential Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Very few things truly warrant the word "perfect" in their evaluation; IMHO, NoSquint is one of the few that does.

Indeed, I've considered it an essential add-on to Firefox ever since discovering it several years ago (and install it on every computer I work on).

Thank you, Jason Tackaberry!

A much needed tool.

I've dealt with this kind of addons before in my career. But since then Firefox has matured and these addons seem to have disappeared from the addons list on Firefox. I believe that every person in Scorpion Computer Services uses this or a similar addon to properly display images and texts on websites, and since this is good (and free) I believe that I'm gonna stick to it till the end of time...

Extremely useful. Works very well, no problems at all with it. Only issue is that if you become too dependent on it then you might be totally stuffed when Electrolysis comes out, as this addon isn't yet compatible.

I have been battling trying to see the words/text on my Firefox and Safari And could NOT get it to go dark to be able to see without having my text be 16 pix. I just wanted it to be darker so this Download was a GOD SEND! THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU (can't say the enough) been suffering thru the light text for MONTHS ! Whoosh.

Thank you so very much ! I easily set it to display black text - no more squinting at larger text in gray. Works great - again Thank You.

Hey can you fix this? Rated 3 out of 5 stars

Can you fix the frozen display that shows what $ you are zoomed into?

Why does an add-on that deals with zooming, break the zooming notification?

I LOVE this add-on. It's so useful and oh, so easy to use. Thank you!!!!

Running GNU/Linux on the latest Firefox, NoSquint causes huge performance degregation on sites running adobe flash.

It's so bad that video playback is unviable on certain sites, namely YouPorn, and PornHub.

Yes I know it's funny, but seriously not only these sites, they just happen to be the worst experiences.

The color overwrite feature of this add-on is mentioned in so many places and it's quite useful, however, it doesn't have a toolbar icon for this capability but the zoom. So if you want to disable the color overwrite or make a change you gotta go to the add-ons , options, so and so.
Could be extremely useful.

Handy, but causes problems with a few sites Rated 4 out of 5 stars

Definitely convenient to be able to maintain enlargement preferences for individual sites. However, for a few sites nosquint just screws up the layout to the point of unreadability. There doesn't seem to be a way to permanently disable it just for these sites, so I'll have to manually do so each time. (example of such site:railcc.org/Events.html)

:-( Won't install in SeaMonkey Rated 5 out of 5 stars

I'll second that the project should get a new life with someone who does have the time and interest in continuing to develop it. It looks exactly like what I was hoping to find.
Not just myself but, a growing number of older folk who need easy visual cues instead of having to remember keystrokes, could be helped immensely by a set of zoom buttons either up top or on the status bar at the bottom.

Per site zoom levels with discrete site settings dialogue. Great! Rated 5 out of 5 stars

I was using another add-on for this feature. I thought I'd give this one a try to see how is the implementation. It's newer and has an up-to-date UI.

Also, having detailed per site settings accessible in the "NoSquint Site Settings" context menu is a great touch.

Wonderful.

Let's keep NoSquint alive. Developers needed to update it. Rated 5 out of 5 stars

NoSquint is the best page/text zoom add-on out there bar none. Unfortunately, Jason has indicated to me he doesn't have the time to update it as can be seen by no activity on his part anywhere.

I would hate to see NoSquint consigned to the dust bin of history. This will certainly happen once the e10's get turned on in the future. NoSquint simply does not work with the e10's.

If you're a developer, you can fork NoSquint on GitHub and send pull requests.

The best extension ever for people wearing glasses!!! Rated 5 out of 5 stars

The best extension ever!!!
Thank you very much for developing it. My nephew and my parents have problems with their eyes. Now, they can surf ;-)
It is a very usefull to zoom text to 200% and zoom out the page to 90%. It makes the surf experience better!

Need help setting exceptions Rated 4 out of 5 stars

Basically an ok add-on, but I need help in setting it up properly. I use 1024 x 768 screen resolution. I want all my websites to be at 100% zoom level. The only site I need to be set at 90% is Mail.Yahoo.com (yahoo email site)
https://us-mg6.mail.yahoo.com
For some idiotic reason, if I leave that site at 100% the characters in the Inbox (for unread mails) are a very large Bold Face Font .. totally incorrect, but what else would I expect as Yahoo has messed up the email since the last major "new and improved yahoo email"

This is wonderful for us older people. Thank you so much, does exactly what it says it will, very simple and easy. Love it.
