As I understand it the app is not opensource either.
The Windows Companion application is difficult to uninstall.
OK mozila puts his "recommended" label, but -excuse me- I ended up not using it anymore out of mistrust.

They did an update to this extension lately, made it twice as big on screen, lot of useless info is shown and you have to perform more clicks for the same result. I absolutely do not like the updated interface. But the program still functions perfectly so I just have to cope with that.

It doesn't work on all sites omitting to fill certain areas and on a couple of sites does not recognise my login name. However on the plus side it is better than my previous password manager at recongising other login details.
It's not perfect but it's free and very good.
- by MV, 4 months agoRated 3 out of 5I want to love it. I really do, but why does it need so many god damned permissions?
I will keep using the mobile and desktop versions, but I doubt I will use this extension until it stops wanting information it does not need.
