Waste of time!! Rated 1 out of 5 stars

Button "New" of "Rules" doesn´t work!!

Not for Unrooted Android Rated 2 out of 5 stars

It doesn't work. I have http://* in the add-on's text field and I can surf just fine. Galaxy S4.

Minimalist site blocker, just as described Rated 5 out of 5 stars

This add-on has never failed to block a site I input. Easiest way to edit the site list is to paste the character string into Notepad, edit, then paste into the add-on. Sure it could be easier, but it works and it was no surprise given the name of the app.

Almost perfect Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Easy to use (if you read the instructions) and it works well.
4/5 stars because you can still access the site like mentioned by "GalvestonGal".
That seems to be a bug, because there's no link to the target-site on the screenshot on the addon page.
Some one star ratings here are not justified, at least if it worked like it does now, because there is really nothing that could not work or can be misunderstood.

EDIT:
Worked after a restart. The link is still there, but clicking on it doesn't work anymore. (The page "you blocked this site; link: xyz" reloads only.) - changed my rating to 5/5 stars. Thank you very much Dev!

I'm using it to block some sites that distract me from working and the only thing I need is a little reminder - Minimal Site Block does this for me. Even if I could access the site with a click more, it's not necessary.

Works great on mobile Rated 5 out of 5 stars

It's probably not as easy as it could be, but this works great on the phone, because I haven't found any other add-on that actually works on the mobile

Exactly what I needed! Rated 5 out of 5 stars

I’m going to qualify the rating, it’s FANTASTIC for what it is intended to do. It’s not splashy, or a super friendly GUI, so if you need that, I’d recommend kind words of encouragement to the developer. If you have a few hours of dev under your belt or have been looking for something to disable/redirect the file protocol for whatever need, this is fantastic. Good work, and my thanks to you.

Pointless Rated 1 out of 5 stars

Tells you the site is blocked but puts the link right there on the page, allowing you to click on it and get to the site anyway.

Rated 1 out of 5 stars

Without a simple to access GUI or installation process where the icon is inserted somewhere we can easily drag it to where we want it, this add-on is only for the tiny few who will understand what to do with it let alone the RAR file on the author's support site.

It does work, give it a chance. Rated 4 out of 5 stars

I read about this on gHacks today and installed. It
works well for domains, which is all I care about.

I agree with two earlier reviews in that it would be
easier to use if the list were accessible through a
menu. However, the dev deserves credit for making
it possible to block sites at all - enhancements later
if he can bring himself to ignore the negative reviews.

Could be useful, but... Rated 2 out of 5 stars

Developer states (for mobile devices), "please use Firefox Beta". Why? I'm not going to use a beta because a single dev demands it. I know it takes a lot of work to create an add-on. If all you want, though, is to stay within an insular setting, you've accomplished that. Congrats.

Utile si vous souhaitez bloquer temporairement un site comme par exemple des réseaux sociaux pendant votre période de boulot.

I'm going to echo Bodertz. It works well. Similar suggestion about accessibility to edit lists/wildcard site limits. Thanks.

Rated 3 out of 5 stars

Works as advertised. No idea what the two reviewers before me attempted to do, but it works. Maybe they forgot to use a wildcard.

One star removed because you are limited to one wildcard per site. It will probably work fine for most purposes. Another removed because of the lack of a toolbar button, or an easier way to edit the blacklist than to go find the add-on in the list and change its preferences.

Not working Rated 1 out of 5 stars

Restarted Firefox, reinstalled. Still doesn't do anything. Complete utter pile of shit. Don't waste your time
