IG Identity Resolver is a lightweight Firefox extension for anyone who works with Instagram accounts — developers, OSINT researchers, social media managers, or curious users.

What it solves
Instagram users frequently change their usernames. When that happens, friends and followers lose track of each other with no native way to search by the original account. Numeric IDs never change — so resolving a username to its permanent ID (or back) gives you a reliable reference to any account regardless of what they rename themselves to.

How to use
1. Log into instagram.com in Firefox first
2. Click the extension icon
3. Pick a mode: Username → ID or ID → Username
4. Enter the value and solve the quick math problem
5. Hit Resolve — the profile card appears instantly
