- Rated 2 out of 5by Dark Thoughts, 7 hours agoUnfortunately this addon fails reliably on a daily basis for me. It's noticeable in that Shorts often still show up, but it also sometimes does not load properly (I once even had massive icons in the background below the video) or at all (no icons, no custom colors, etc), or it causes massive CPU hog on open YT tabs which also makes any YT function act on a several second delay (even just pausing / unpausing or going fullscreen). Sometimes it helps to completely re-open a new YT tab and close the old one but that's all just temporary until things go south again shortly after.

- Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 18725293, a day agoIf your control bar disappears for no reason, switched to Miniplayer ("i" key) and switch back to full view (you can just press "i" again). For me it works everytime and the control bar always reappears.

- Rated 4 out of 5by Joseph Berger, 5 days agoI've had the extension for some time now and just getting around to really playing with it. Seems to work very well for some of its features but for others I can't seem to get them to work, meaning if for example there is a keyboard shortcut to have YouTube do XYZ when I use that shortcut nothing happens. This is not for just one feature either nor is it a dead key on my keyboard. Another weird thing is it will often just "turn itself off" meaning out of no where and for no reason I can find the control bar will just disappear from Firefox around the YouTube player window. Then I will have to click around turning it on and off, enabling and disabling the extension even uninstalling it then reinstalling it (having the export of the settings as a backup makes this a lot less annoying after the first couple of times once I realized there was a backup and doing that would make this troubleshooting step hell of a lot less annoying.) Anyways - overall it has some awesome settings and features especially the quick list of shortcuts which makes life so much easier.

- Rated 3 out of 5by sgdl-pers, 8 days agoWhile the features this addon provides are very nice the simple fact that it never works on links opened from bookmarks means its worthless for a good chunk of my usage and so 3/5.
- Rated 3 out of 5by sarmathal, 9 days agoYouTube playback speed resets after each video, even with the Override default playback speeds option enabled.
- Rated 4 out of 5by Firefox user 18712767, 9 days agowas really solid. last update messed up how the playback speed persists from video to video in a queue, now it resets to 1x every time unless setting it explicitly in this extension.
