I would like to marry whoever has made this add-on.
There are very few add-ons I would highly recommend to anyone using Firefox (Milewideback and Web Developer being two of them) but this is now probably top of my list. Thank you so, so, SO much for making this!!
I love this addon ! (I noticed it don't find so much ads than before I added NoScript , before BoScript is also helpful indirectly against ads ... ).
Most important and useful than the Firefox itself!!
This add-on is just plain fabulous. I've been using this for years now. I think I first installed this add-on around 2005 or 2006. I have never looked back. The ability to view web pages in their purest form without vile disgusting adverts everywhere is just the greatest idea ever. Without this add-on, Firefox would still be great, but not awesome. Every time I install Firefox, Adblock Plus is the first thing I install with it. I can't imagine browsing the web in any other way. And an awesome list of filters can be found easily on Google by searching "Adblock Plus filters". There is even a list you can subscribe to which blocks tracking. Which makes NoScript redundant. All in all this is a perfect add-on that improves the speed and safety of firefox, you just can't go wrong.
Adonifox I will download your Add-on as the day comes, but these days this works well, wish it also blocked text, since some ads are made in text to be not blocked, which is a bit annoying.
Not cool people rely on ads to support their site, by using this all you're doing is destroying websites incomes and killing sites you enjoy visiting.
The day that advertisers on the internet show some restraint instead of employing obnoxious flashing banners, and tracking cookies, loading web bugs and scripts is the day when I will turn Adblock off.
It works like a charm. Try it and you will love it.
no doubt about it. if it weren't for this add-on FF wouldn't be as good a browser as it is. for me, blocking ads is the number 1 feature of FF
Po zainstalowaniu polskich bibliotek (są dwie) z automatycznymi aktualizacjami listy spamu sprawuje się nieźle ale nadal nie umiem sam blokować reklam flashowych tym programem.
Thank you, it’s really useful
Perfect, really worked for me, good job!
Es el mejor software anti publicidad MUCHAS GRACIAS
Too bad u can't rate it @ 6 stars! I just added up all my hits since I installed it- 1,956 ads blocked (and counting)! (And that's only in 3 weeks!)
exactly what i was looking for!!!! thanks^^
I admit, Adblock Plus is a very good Add-on, but together with "NoScript" and "BetterPrivacy" my privacy is just perfect... I have it for a week now and I couldn't do without it anymore (THANK YOU VERY MUCH!). I don't know for sure, but since I have these 3 great Add-ons, I get less Spam...
Adblock Plus just works!
Adblock Plus is an excellent ad-blocking add-on. If you hate ads, I recommend you download this add-on.
Works beautifully. Having so much less clutter on web pages makes them much easier to navigate, and the new absence of potentially scamming, or mature content ads is a great benefit to those with children. Without the ads, pages load and render faster, a benefit most valuable on lower speed connections, but just as significant for those with broadband.
On certain sites, my browsing is now up to twice as fast.
wow works great on ebay! if you want to get free money by taking surveys then please go to tinyurl.com/getfreestuf
I would just like to say express my gratitude to the developers of this fine extension. This is perhaps *the* reason to use Firefox other than it being open source of course). Thankyou for giving up your time for this groundbreaking extension.
PS: when your considering the new feature of letting certain frequently visited sites ask to disable Adblock, don't make it worse than the ads themselves!
