Used for many years - Must actively tell it to not allow ads now. Rated 5 out of 5 stars
Guess Google finally got to them as they allow ads now on Google and other selected sites. However you can - and must if you want complete ad blocking - set your filter settings to do this. 1) Click on the ABP icon 2) Select filter preferences 3) On the filter subscriptions tab, uncheck "Allow some non-obtrusive ads. "Close out and that's it. But you must actively do this now as it comes checked by default. As a note, the ads it allows are much less obnoxious than they used to be so I actually am allowing it for a while. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (2.3.1-signed).
