- Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 14609268, a month agoSadly it doesn't work. Keeps showing "Unable to summarize this video. Error is: NetworkError when attempting to fetch resource." My recommendation is to just simply copy the transcript over to your ChatGPT tab. Also it requests access to some "Allizom.org" even if you were already signed in to everything.

- Rated 4 out of 5by aboutthat, 3 months agoGood when working. How about a function generate point every $var minutes or similar? I was also not able to generate more than 23 points on firefox. Chrome did not have that issue, but I'd rather use firefox. Atm it isn't working at all on either. I'm getting this on both: Unable to summarize this video.

- Rated 1 out of 5by nols, 5 months agoRequests to log in via Google only and asks to provide data to a site called allizom.org, which doesn't exist. Very sketchy, would not recommend.

posted 5 months agoSorry you felt it's sketchy but we don't use your credentials for anything sketchy. The login is to save your summaries for you if you re-summarize the same video and if you use the premium features like GPT-4.
allizom.org is Mozilla which is basically the creator of Firefox. This is because the login redirect back to the extension which is a Mozilla url. - Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 18244647, 5 months ago

posted 5 months agoIt's working for a couple of weeks now. Sorry for the inconvenience!- Rated 1 out of 5by John Doe, 6 months agoLooks like this add-on got snatched up by some ad agency. Just peeked into the new version's source code, and surprise! They've thrown in a bunch of analytics, data collection, forced logins, and even slapped on some "premium features". Oh, and did I mention it doesn't even work? Save yourself the trouble and skip this one.
Developer response
posted 5 months agoIt's not used or bought by any ad agency and the data is not sold to anyone or used for ads.
Login is to be able to save your summaries, stop malicious attacks and enable premium features like GPT-4 if needed.
