BUT. This extension messes with you configs without ever warning you about it or giving you the choice to disable it. It will automatically disable all prefetching and Firefox network prediction, even if the VPN is toggles of and you disable all privacy options in the extension settings. I believe that an extension that tramples over my preferences without even mentioning it ANYWHERE or giving me the option to disable this behavior is not worth it if you truly want to be able to have control over your own browser.
Obviously this doesn't affect you if you have prefetching disabled anyway, but anyone should realize that any form of unintended behavior is pretty bad. - Rated 2 out of 5by Firefox user 12376444, 2 months agoРасширение перестало работать пару лет назад - до сих пор так и не работает. Конкурентный VPN работает через расширение firefox, а Windscribe не работает.

- Rated 2 out of 5by Firefox user 16941152, 3 years agoThis causes more problems than what it actually solves. Tons of pages become stagnant or unavailable. You need to restart the browser and disable the tool in order to view the regular content. It is supposed to help you navigate with security but it feels like breaks the sites

- Rated 2 out of 5by ArjunSindhya, 4 years agoCauses weird startup behaviour on firefox lately. Crashes, unresponsive pages, semi-loaded pages, etc. Disabling this extension solved everything. Please look into this.

- Rated 2 out of 5by Firefox user 16964500, 4 years agoIt's nice, but It's annoying having to turn it off now and then because it stops first couple sites from loading when launching the browser for the first time.

- Rated 2 out of 5by Firefox user 14514493, 4 years agoVPN itself is fine, only downside is even if you turn off the auto connect on browser start, it will randomly auto connect to VPN server. It happens once every 3-4 days.
- Rated 2 out of 5by Barry Ryder, 4 years agoEvery now and again they break this extension and you can't load pages in Firefox until you disable it. Currently we have the same problem. With the extension enabled, you can't resolve any sites anywhere. Been this way nearly two weeks now.
