    highlights when you return to a page. We do not sell browsing data.

    • Account service (optional) — Only when you sign in, so library sync and
    account features can reach our backend. Guest mode never needs this.

    • AI provider sites (optional) — Only if you connect your own API keys
    (OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini, etc.).

    • localhost (optional) — Only if you enable local Ollama or a local agent bridge.

    Guest highlighting works with page access + on-device storage alone.
