Worked for about 2 weeks, now it just kinda freezes the stream when theres an ad

PLEASE fix this add-on. Twitch these days is an adfest, it's unbearable

Twitch is fighting back again, addon intermittently no longer works, showing a commercial break in progress screen

I would say it blocks 50% of all ads. Twitch is definitely much more annoying without this addon.

So there is currently an issue with it blocking pre-rolls by giving you a screen that says "Ad break in progress", but it only lasts about 30 sec and then there aren't anymore ads. There's also an issue where the resolution will default to 360p or 480p, and then you will have to manually chose 1080p. All in all, it still does (mostly) what it's supposed to.

It reliably blocks all ads, but it also often gets stuck and keeps switching to 480p for no reason. Even with no ads running and even on channels you're subscribed to. Manually changing the quality won't stop the addon from changing quality back to 480p.

It used to work perfectly, but as of late: the streams are stuck at 480p. You can't set it any higher. If you unblock ads, it lets you go to higher resolutions

It works. One issue though - it makes the box in the banner which automatically plays the streamer's last VOD on their Home page behave strangely. If you pause it and switch tabs, it will start playing again. If you re-pause it, it will unpause itself over and over. Live streams and the main VOD player are unaffected.

Currently doesn't work for me. Ads are blocked, but stream doesn't load correctly. Strangely, in-stream addons like Hearthstone Deck Tracker still load.

This extension DOES block ads on twitch. However, There is an issue where the extension causes the playback of streams to buffer from time to time when it blocks said ads. If you find buffering annoying... find another twitch adblocker.
