Reviews for TWP - Translate Web Pages
TWP - Translate Web Pages by Filipe Dev
Review by Marty
Rated 1 out of 5
by Marty, 8 months agoSince the TWP update, the translation no longer works. You can neither translate a highlighted sentence nor an entire web page. For this reason, I have decided to revise my rating and now give one star instead of five. I will install the previous version of TWP in the hope that the translation will work fully again. Everything worked before the update. After installing the previous version, all you have to do is block this extension from updating automatically in the settings.

- Rated 5 out of 5by VilaHarper, 4 days agoIt was the best translation extension for FF, but unfortunately, I’ll have to abandon it. Google Translate is translating only about 10% of the text on some websites.

- Rated 5 out of 5by Shacker Benashoor, 5 days agothis addon clears the competition, even native firefox translation isn't this convenient. it has text selection translation, full in-page translation and clean straight forward UI to control the language!
- Rated 3 out of 5by whateverffs, 6 days agoyou wanna know whats hella annoying? If i want the highlighted text to be translated just once by deepl because lets say google or bing did shitty job and i click the little deepl icon in a popup window it wont redirect me just once, it will change the default translation service to deepl and every new highlighted text that i want to translate will open a new tab with deepl - unless i change the settings to google again, and so on, ridiculous!

- Rated 5 out of 5by Fincco, 11 days agoGreat extension but for some reason now when I highlight text it makes a little icon pops up that lets me translate the text but I can't change it in the settings because the setting keeps going back and there isn't a save button to hit.

The setting is saved immediately. - Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 17855064, 12 days agoPhenomenal and only improving as time passes. Just phenomenal app.

posted 13 days agoI tested it and it is translating in real time.
If after updating to the new version it is not translating, try restarting your browser.
