- Rated 5 out of 5by island_in_the_sun, 4 months agoWorks like a charm for getting back top "black on white" when "dark mode" seems mandatory. Also, enhances notorious dark grey font on other grey background web designs.
- Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 13404543, 7 months agoIt would be nice if you could change only one thing and leave the rest default, like changing only the text color, but changing the text color means that the background and link colors will also be changed like it or not, and that makes this extension useless to me.
- Rated 5 out of 5by mozjurmo, a year agoThanks, right what I needed to brighten up these obnoxious "dark" websites. There's a reason paper usually is white ;) Ease of use, not much to fiddle with - just great, keep it up!

- Rated 5 out of 5by Darkmaster006, a year agoThank you for this add-on. For my needs (changing the background colour to a light green/sepia), this works miracles. Would be nice to have a traditional colour picker with hex numbers and so on, though, but no worries.
- Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 17932443, a year agoJust what I was looking for, to add a green-tinted background for reading ebooks on Scribd.com (inspired by Magnum Easy Eye paperbacks of the 1960s and 70s). Thanks!
- Rated 5 out of 5by Jdd, a year agoVery Good app, not resource hungry as Midnight Lizard, easy to use, and very good results... Perhaps a pallet with more advanced color customization could be good to make it better. But im no programmer so i can't comment much. Excellent work

- Rated 2 out of 5by Firefox user 17708027, 2 years agoБыло удобное расширение, позволяющее приводить в норму сайты с кривой раскраской. Однако сейчас сглючило - весь интерфейс управления не помещается в форме расширения, потому невозможно нажимать на кнопки Text color, Background color. В общем потеряло работоспособность. Видимо зря позволил ему автоматически обновляться.
- Rated 4 out of 5by Firefox user 17607442, 2 years agoIt changes the colors, although completely breaks gradients and does not care about lines and such (add line colors and either fix gradients, do not color them, or have an option to disable gradient viewing altogether)
Developer response
posted 2 years agoThe gradient issue might be fixed since I changed how styling works. Borders should be colored if a border is present. If you send the website with the issue to webextdev@gmail.com, I can take a look. - Rated 4 out of 5by Klaas, 2 years ago
- Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 14108576, 2 years agoLooks like the extension I need, but the control panel only lets me change text color and background color. There's at least a third setting, possibly more below those two, but it's mostly off the control panel and can't be brought into the control panel. I find no way to contact the developer, so I'll post this.

- Rated 5 out of 5by Daniel Wu, 3 years agoMy eyes can't tolerate dark mode at all. 2 minutes reading in dark mode gives me severe eyes strain. It's absurd that more and more website adopted dark mode even though we are fine with light mode for 20+ years. To me, black text with light brown background (or pure white) is still the best for reading. It simulates physical book. Thanks for making this add on.
- Rated 2 out of 5by P Drummond, 3 years agoThe popup window displays only text and part of the background setting. I just wanted black text but links get changed to GREEN! Yikes. (Firefox 89, Win10 2004, 10-in screen) Using "No Color" instead.
Developer response
posted 2 years agoThis has been fixed in the latest update. If an element is not fully visible, you can scroll the UI to bring it into view, so you should be able to change the link color now. - Rated 4 out of 5by Firefox user 13970483, 3 years ago
- Rated 2 out of 5by MartyGreg, 4 years agousing this add-on changes graphics on web pages, for. example a weather chart that shows bars for a range of temperatures changes to dots. 4/18/21: thank you for your reply. The add-on is not really functioning. I wish I could attach a screen shot. For example, I do a google search, on the top there are usually made up questions with the down arrows to the right. I picked text as black, background light pastel green and the links blue. The text was changed to black (the little arrows have disappeared) and the links, which were originally blue, turned black. I am glad if this works for others but for me it is a mess. Good luck. Added a star for your addressing the issue.
Developer response
posted 3 years agoThanks for describing the issue. It looks like my last update caused a regression where link colors were not being updated properly, so I just published a new version. Unfortunately, this won't do anything for the down arrows, so you may want to look into Stylish. - Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 13228251, 4 years agoAwesome! I was finally able to set the Hacker News homepage to show the difference between visited and unvisited links.
