About this extension
ShyPixels is a privacy-focused browser extension that allows users to blur specific elements on any website.

Users can select any element on a page and apply one of two modes:
• Blur Always – permanently blurred
• Blur (Hover) – blurred until mouse hover

Blur rules are saved per domain and automatically re-applied on future visits.

This extension is useful for:
• Hiding chat history in messaging or AI tools
• Protecting dashboards and admin panels
• Preventing shoulder surfing in offices or public spaces
• Concealing sensitive UI sections during screen sharing

All rules are stored locally using the browser storage API.
No data is collected.
No data is transmitted externally.
No remote servers are used.

ShyPixels runs entirely inside the browser and does not access or modify data beyond applying visual blur styles to user-selected elements.
