About this extension
Proxy Switcher makes it easy to configure and manage your own proxy connection directly from the Firefox toolbar.
Features:
Enter the proxy address, port, protocol and credentials provided by your proxy service, then enable the connection.
Proxy Switcher does not provide, sell or automatically select proxy servers. You must use your own proxy server or proxy provider.
Privacy information:
Proxy settings and optional credentials are stored locally in the Firefox extension storage. When the proxy is enabled, browser traffic is routed through the proxy server selected by the user.
When the user clicks Test Proxy, the extension sends a request to ipwho.is to display the current public IP address and approximate city and country.
The extension does not collect analytics, display advertising, sell user information or load remote executable code. Users should only connect through proxy providers they trust.
Features:
- HTTP, HTTPS, SOCKS4 and SOCKS5 proxy support
- Optional username and password authentication
- One-click proxy connection switch
- Clear connection status
- Public IP and approximate location test
- Light and dark interface themes
