- Rated 4 out of 5by Firefox user 13533076, 7 months agoPretty excellent screen shot tool. Doesn't get a full five stars because on really, really long pages the capture tool will freeze and crash. Overall my go-to however.
- Rated 2 out of 5by TELLALL4ALL, 7 months agoWorks about 60% of the time. Tries to sell you on a different program when you try to use it. Freezes your windows computer when trying to capture large page requiring hard reboot then-no throttling or limits on memory consumption resulting in stalled machine. When it works it works well, too bad that doesn't come close to 100%
- Rated 1 out of 5by Naam82, 7 months agoaccount required to screen record, would give 0 stars if i could

- Rated 4 out of 5by NotBacon, 8 months agoWorks better on the Chrome version, Firefox UI is outdated.
- Rated 1 out of 5by USER-EXPERIENCEONLY, 8 months ago5-12-24: down to one star, would give 0 if possible. FFox must be hard up for programmers to recommend crap extensions like awesome. Want to waste your time trying to get this script kiddie pos addon to work, then install it. Can't handle browser zoom settings, can't select proper portion of page. Waste a lot of time trying to get this POS addon to work. Obviously the "developers" don't know shyt.
Mozilla should hold a contest because there ARE NO good scrren savers extensions for it.
11-7-23: Clips the image so download is incomplete. SLOWWWWW. Freezes computer on long pages with no progress bar.
In windows 8.1 when capturing a large page, it runs roughshod on your memory and your computer will freeze up often requiring a reboot. Does not work on portable browsers that are not integrated into your OS. Slow to load, run and save an image. - Rated 1 out of 5by ʟ·ɪɴᴀᴅᴀᴩᴛé, 9 months agoThis extension requires an account and therefore a registration to use it.
Go away! - Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 18032245, 9 months agoI use this extension on every Browser that allows it. I have been a happy and satisfied "Awesome Screenshot" User for much longer than 3 years, during which it has made awesome contributions to my workflow!

- Rated 3 out of 5by shredjward, 10 months agoFlat out inferior to its' chrome counterpart. If I had no knowledge of this extension in chrome, I would probably rate 1 star because I'd find it next to worthless. However I hold the chrome version in such high regard that it actively raised my rating for this version of it.

- Rated 1 out of 5by ph, a year agoI hate this version of the extension, I can't record my screen without signing in? I can't change the video thumbnail. My video is automatically uploaded, I don't have the option to only save it locally. On the Awesome Screenshots website it shows other options available, like recording one tab only, or one window, but in Firefox and with Windows 10 Pro, I only have the option to record the Awesome Screenshot tab or the ENTIRE screen. This extension forces me to share information with Awesome Screenshot just to do something simple and basic with the extension. I'm guessing you then sell my information and make a lot of money doing it AT THE EXPENSE OF MY PRIVACY!
