- Rated 1 out of 5by Lilith, 20 days agoGive me serious problems in firefox/zen-browser
In the start it worked without no problems but after restarting it for the first time the extensions begans to having problems, i couldn't acess any website in the browser however the Wi-Fi was perfectly outside it, i couldn't even properly remove it i needed to enter troubleshooting mode and after go directly to the folder and remove it, by the way this only happens with ProtonVPN since windscribe works perfectly fine for me.Developer response
posted 19 days agoThat doesn't sound right. What OS are you experiencing this issue on exactly? Do you have any other extensions installed for privacy/security purposes? Is the auto connect feature enabled in the extension's settings? Please contact us at https://protonvpn.com/support/contact with more details so we can help you troubleshoot the behavior further. - Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 19568696, 20 days ago
- Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 20006270, 22 days agoExcellent! You need to sign in your account before to connect.

- Rated 2 out of 5by Otter, 22 days agoThe extension worked fine while on windows 11. But as soon as I switched to EndeavourOS, it just stopped. It fails to connect to servers, leaving me either with no internet on my browser, or to browse unprotected. This sucks even more because I'm a paying customer (unlimited).

- Rated 5 out of 5by Mindaugas, 25 days agoA favorite servers section would be nice, so it would be faster to choose than from the list.

It just keep trying to load for eternity without anything happening. The only other security/privacy add-on I have is UBO and my browser is up to date.

- Rated 5 out of 5by GravityPopsicle, a month agoI love Proton VPN! Yes, it requires an account but it is so easy to make one and the unlimited free data is just too good of a deal for a (currently) brokie like me :p

- Rated 1 out of 5by Foxer, a month agoWhat happened? I recently renewed my subscription (not for the first time), and now I'm installing the extension on a new device, but it simply won't load (it just keeps loading forever!!!). Fix this! I've been experiencing issues for months now- I have to reconnect frequently, otherwise pages won't load. There are other issues, so I won't list them all here.

posted a month agoThat doesn't sound right. Are both your browser and the Proton VPN extension up-to-date? Do you have any other extensions installed for privacy/security purposes? What type of internet connection are you using? Are you receiving any error messages? Everytime I first install it, the VPN works great. However, after I restart Firefox, it can never connect again and no website will load at all whenever it says "Connected". I need to reinstall the extension in order for it to work. It doesn't matter what fork I'm on, it doesn't matter what PC I'm on, and this has been happening for years. Works great on Vivaldi which you'd expect, given the extension is pre-loaded in the browser...but cmon I'm a Firefox guy and I'd like for this to work so I can use the VPN I'm paying for on my browser of choice. Until then, I'm not paying extra for it.

What OS are you running? Please contact us at https://protonvpn.com/support/contact with more details so we can help you troubleshoot. - Rated 1 out of 5by seadeeply, a month agoif you disconnect it does nothing, you stay online, and you will just be surfing with no protection until you notice it isn't connected anymore.

posted a month agoThe Proton VPN extension doesn't currently have a kill switch feature that blocks the traffic if the VPN connection drops, but we've taken note of your feedback for future consideration. You can follow our blog (https://protonvpn.com/blog) and socials for any news and updates. - Rated 5 out of 5by johnmickaelbrun, a month ago
