posted 11 hours agoSorry to hear that. Could you share more details about the issue? What are the exact steps you're taking that lead to the problem? Which specific server(s) are you connected to in the process? Have you tried multiple different servers? Contact us at protonvpn.com/support/contact with more details so we can help. - Rated 1 out of 5by Maleficient, 3 days agoYou have to create an account with the Swiss operator, then choose a paid subscription and in the description on the Mozilla site, this is cleverly passed over in silence.

posted 11 hours agoWe do have a Free plan that costs $0 and allows you to secure your internet connection with no ads, no logs, and provides the same level of privacy and security as our paid plans. Anyone can sign up for our Free plan, and we don't ask for any payment details during signup. That said, having an account does not endanger your privacy and security in any way. - Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 18822358, 4 days agoLiterally always connects to the same server, doesn't matter what u do. 🤡

posted 11 hours agoThe default auto-connect option will connect you to the fastest available server for you. This leads to better load balancing and higher speed, which is a priority for free users. That said, you still have the option to switch to another randomly allocated server by disconnecting and reconnecting again, or you can upgrade to connect to a specific server of your choice. - Rated 2 out of 5by AnonFF User, 4 days agoWhy do I have to open a new tab to re-sign in every single time I want to use this extension?

- Rated 3 out of 5by Firefox user 18515147, 8 days agoThe speed is fast and it's free, which is nice. However, no matter how many times I try to reconnect, it always connects to a server in my country and never to servers in other countries, so I would like to see an improvement.

- Rated 5 out of 5by J4ck, 19 days agoThe extension is a must have. It currently has a small bug related to the disconnection of the account which happens randomly but I think it's gonna be fixed soon, since Proton Team already acknowledged it. It doesn't leak, it's pretty fast and it's super easy to use. Good job!
- Rated 5 out of 5by FC, 20 days agoIt simply works. Automatic (free tier) server connection and it gets the job done, without leaking anything
- Rated 1 out of 5by Justsomeone, 21 days agoThis is garbage, there is no way to try a server outside of your own country for free

Much appreciated. Wish I could pay... hopefully in the future. Unfortunately, it does not work for me on my phone :( postmarketOS on Linux ARM device.

posted 20 days agoSorry to hear that. Proton VPN is currently officially supported on the latest stable versions of Debian, Ubuntu, and Fedora, using GNOME desktop environment. Moreover, the browser extension itself, it's not optimized for mobile devices at the moment. Nonetheless, we've passed on your feedback to the team for future improvements. - Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 18157935, 22 days agoWhile I lack sufficient experience using the "add-on" to give a quality review of it, I will say that as a subscriber/user of Proton VPN and the services, to which I've been paying for over the past year, have had one or two minor issues, which I have managed to resolve, but aside from that, I am satisfied, and happy with Proton VPN. (So far) I've tried 3 or 4 other (paid) popular VPN services, which I discontinued, after either having issues with their policies and/or after having researched them. Proton is my choice.
- Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 18662920, 23 days agoПри запуске требует "Войти". Окно ввода не открывается. Однако, если запущен другой VPN, окно "Войти" открывается! Зачем нужен этот VPN, который не запустить без другого VPN?!

posted 20 days agoWe're sorry to hear that. The reason you're experiencing this issue is due to the aggressive restrictions in Russia. Our team is working hard on improving our infrastructure so that all our users are able to connect more easily. We will continue to make more improvements to enhance service availability despite the ongoing blocking attempts.
Meanwhile, you may consider downloading the official Proton VPN app for your specific OS to see if you're able to connect more easily. If you cannot access our website in order to do that, please contact us at protonvpn.com/support-form or proton.me/support/contact, or simply send us an email directly at so we can assist you further. - Rated 5 out of 5by Kis Albert, 23 days ago

- Rated 2 out of 5by Firefox user 18191082, a month agoLatest update has me stuck on the "press Next and then Allow" screen for permissions, but there is no 'Next' button to click, and checking the add-on says all permissions are enabled.

No merece la pena, para pagar las hay mejores que esta.Developer response

(this is easily possible with other VPNs via the Mozilla Container extension, if you have a SOCKS5 proxy address. to use...)Developer response
