aug, 2024: it's gotten much better. Recommended
Sept 2022: It's gotten better but the thing that remains that is really annoying is that it won't load the saved urls automatically and you have to disable and re-enable it to get the saved urls to load. The problem with the auto opening of the tabs has been resolved in their settings, so that is not an issue now. But I am sick and tired of having to disable and re-enable it to get it to load on command. I dont' want AUTO load but I do want them to load when I issue the command.
June, 2022: It's gotten better, easier to use. On some browsers such as epic, it will not auto activate and you have to disable and reenable to get it to show. Need a better way to save the tabs when it goes haywire. Should have an auto setting to automatically lock the tabs.

It acts like trojan or malware and opens a second FFOX window without user input and with setting set to open tab only, ignores the setting and opens a new window. Reported as malware.
mostly disabled it. Breaks Loads whether you ask it to or not and then breaks your vpn or music connection in doing so. Seems pretty obvious they are messing with your other browsing connections. It's only good for one thing, that is if you have to open many URLS and don't want to bother pressing the keys to make a book mark. I consider this spyware. Don't know why mozilla recommends it, but they must have low standards.

posted 4 years agoWe have a very strict privacy guarantee, and Mozilla manually reviews all of our source code. I'm not sure what kind of "breaking" of your browsing you're talking about. The extension will not normally affect your browsing in any way unless you click the OneTab button to send your open tabs to OneTab.

I only have one suggestion, an option to send only selected tabs to OneTab, because sometimes I want to send 2 or 3 specific ones and there is only the option to send all to the left or all to the right. - Rated 1 out of 5by AnjalíJ, 2 days agoUsed to be great and really reliable, but more recently, it has really sucked, having lost my entire list of tabs several times now. A shame because it was really great when working as it should. But given I had important stuff I needed to come back to in those tab lists... yeah, not happy. Just glad I've been a little deficient in clearing out my history in the last couple of months, so most of those links are at least somewhere.

- Rated 2 out of 5by flatmind, a month agoGreat idea, would've used it if not for one HUGE deal-breaker: The forward-backward-history of each saved/closed tab is lost, which is essential to me. If this gets ever fixed, I'll gladly use it.

- Rated 4 out of 5by Txgirl, 2 months agoFor what it is I love this app. The problem is if something happens to your browser or computer it does NOT save your old tabs. I have tabs that are pretty old, tabs saved for Photoshop, for my daughter's college life, etc. We recently had to upgrade to Windows 11 and it fubared to H*ll and back my computer. I could not even get the computer to open...at all. So, my genius husband got me a fix going and of course I had to download One Tab, and everything is gone and I need those tabs. ONE TAB TEAM help me. Is there anything I can do? Do I need to look for another tab saver that gives me a backup option? Unless you have one that I am not aware of hidden somewhere.
EDIT... After posting the above I went to look at OneTab on my browser. I saw the import/export button and as luck would have it my husband checked the old computer which still had my OneTab list. So he imported it to me and I do have my tabs back. I am so happy! Still leaving at 4 stars because I think I just got lucky. I wish there was a better, reminders maybe, way to not loose our tabs. - Rated 5 out of 5by MY AMERICA INC, 2 months ago
