by rastus, 4 months agoI don't know for sure, but at this point I doubt I will renew my subscription to Nordpass. It works pretty well on mobile Android, but on the desktop not. What are you guys doing?
You have two different Firefox extensions with no explanation as to why. You should have a detailed explanation in BOTH of the extension descriptions, explaining the difference. Apparently, from reading on your website, you want us to stop using the "desktop application" extension. But you don't explain why or give any details.
I originally installed the Nordpass desktop PROGRAM. Am I supposed to remove that too? And why would I ever want to store my password vault inside my browser? That does NOT sound like a good idea. Again, you don't explain why I should want to do this, or offer any assurance that this is secure.

I was very happy with the app before but it seems they decided to remove it for some reason I ignore (I can't find any explanation on their website). Now we have to open a web browser whenever we need to retreive a password? wtf? What about when I want to login to another desktop app and not on a website? I will no longer continue with NordPass unless they bring back the desktop app.

- Rated 3 out of 5by Firefox user 14948091, 4 months agoI was given a notification two days ago from Nord that the Nordpass browser extension would soon be discontinued and they advised its removal from my browser. No other explanation or alternatives were given. When you are use to working with an app like this and suddenly are told that it will be discontinued its very unnerving. If having your (Nord) app is supposed to give us security, then what will recommending its immediate removal do? Yes, I see the other Nordpass with Vault alternative, but there is still no compelling explanation. Communicate the details!
