This is the feature I was missing most in the new firefox browser. Absolutely great! Still, pinch to zoom is somehow smoother in safari, but I can't put my finger on what exactly feels a little bit off.

Native smooth zoom is starting to appear in newer Firefox builds. Try enabling it by going to about:config in the url and setting apz.allow_zooming to true. If that works for you then you don't need to use this plugin :)
- by PrivacyOriented, a month agoRated 3 out of 5Great concept, something that needs to be implemented into the browser. However, it breaks YouTube playback in full screen after touching a touchscreen at all while on the webpage. Playback becomes a completely white screen. I disabled other extensions to ensure this extension is the cause.
Workaround: Go to about:config, search for "mousewheel.with_control.action" and set the value to 5 (this is for touchpad pinching and zooming, although it's a little slow). Set "apz.allow_zooming" to true for touchscreen pinch-to-zoom support. Revert any of the "browser.gesture.pinch" settings you may have changed for this extension.
- by Firefox user 13781507, 3 months agoRated 5 out of 5I love it! I just miss a little feature we have on Mac: double tap with two fingers to zoom to an area of a website. That would make this extension PERFECT if possible to implement :)
- by CrimsonBloodfang, 4 months agoRated 4 out of 5I'm having problems with it on the new Facebook design and most other sites. I zoom in then out and the elements at the side disappeared or I couldn't scroll down or up any further. I know Facebook is deeply hated by many people but I am forced to use it for personal reasons.
I need this extension, even if pinch to zoom is added and people are satisfied with it, which I couldn't understand since for me, it's the same as ctrl +/- and not like Chrome's smooth pinch to zoom where the page isn't rearranged when zooming.
Question, is smooth pinch to zoom really working for others by setting apz.allow_zooming to true? I've done that a lot of times and it's still zooming like ctrl +/-.
I'm new to Firefox Quantum, though I've used Firefox before then swiched to Chrome and now back to the new Firefox Quantum.
