Use extension to send template from Mailchimp to Mandrill and then clean up any mailchimp merge language tags (in case you want to use handlebars only in that template). Stuff like MC_PREVIEW_INFO gets removed in this case. Also any http:// or https:// appended by Mailchimp template editor is removed.
