Ghostery – Privacy Ad Blocker by Ghostery
Review by ridevries
Rated 3 out of 5
by ridevries, 4 years agoWorks OK, but slows Firefox (60.0) down, many websites need twice as much time to load, even when added to the trusted list. When it is removed, speed is normal again. Ghostery does not make Chrome slower.

- Rated 4 out of 5by Firefox user 16698967, 22 days agoRecently (2022/07), some websites are not displayed properly. If you disable Ghostery, they are rendered correctly.
For example, in Youtube only sound is playbacked, not images. In Reddit, a blank page was shown in the past but now Reddit seems to be shown properly.
I guess the main reason is HTML coding in these websites, but it is certain that switching on/off Ghostery is inconvenient to see them. - Rated 1 out of 5by FearlessLandShark, 23 days agoMozz needs to add more extensions, themes, and language dictionarys and spell checks for their android browsers...🤬...😢..😭💀

- Rated 1 out of 5by asdlkj, a month agoThis ad blocker literally blocks ads - but gives you it's own pop-up ads. I just installed it, I'm browsing along, and it gives me a pop up saying I've blocked 1,000 ads, click here to upgrade. I'm like, are you a blocker or not?
What's the point of an ad-blocker that gives pop ups? Seriously? What is the point of this? - Rated 5 out of 5by 渣渣, a month ago
- Rated 3 out of 5by Firefox user 14910933, a month agoRecently I experienced problems loading webpages. Not able to scroll the page or see 'cookie-buttons' etc. Found out it was Ghostery not working (properly). Three stars for working (better) in the past.

- Rated 5 out of 5by Leorio_Stare, a month agoI would rate this 5 stars, but recently it has started to just not work on several websites and I have even uninstalled and reinstalled it and tried many different things but it just does not work half the time
edit: I was stupid and had ad blocking off
