Reviews for Aria2 Download Manager Integration
Aria2 Download Manager Integration by Ross Wang

by Kool Beanz, 7 years agoSettings changed for Aria2 in AriaNG are not saved. The download panel is clunky, you have to open it through details every time to see your downloads, you can't just click the alert. There's also no way to easily delete things you've downloaded.
Also, Aria2 is not ran as an administrator so the default file allocation method isn't possible.
If these problems are fixed I'll amend my review.

Aria2's settings are stored in the file like "aria2.conf" and it can only be changed by manually edited that file.
It was designed by the original author, so I can't do anything about it.
--------------------------------
Firefox's notification API has lots of limitations. I cannot create button, progress bar, or something else on the notification.
--------------------------------
Deleting files, running files or using high privilege may cause some security issue.
So it may never have these features.
--------------------------------
The only thing I can do is create a popup of browser action that shows the download items.
