by Elsie H., 4 years agoAs far as I can tell, this plugin works most of the time. (Because it just restores default functionality, it's invisible when it's working properly, which makes it harder to gauge.)
I came here because I ran into a website that mangles copy and paste (Bloomberg Quint), and I wanted to notify the developer about it. Unfortunately, there doesn't seem to be an issue tracker for this, or even any sort of contact information; doing a web search or scrutinizing the underlying doesn't reveal anything, either.
So I guess I'm deducting a star because even though this plugin seems to do what it's supposed to do most of the time, there's no obvious way of reporting bugs or instances of websites not working correctly.
tl;dr Please add a link to a proper issue tracker or at least some sort of contact information for reporting bugs. Thanks!

Indeed, there are a few Web sites that retaliate against user empowerment, have sloppy coding, or perhaps even have some bizarre reason why there is a legitimate interference, but that's not the fault of Absolute. If we want excellent control, we can use Absolute. If we want to relent for a particular site, the add-in can be temporarily disengaged.
I personally have greater faith in the security of Absolute than other add-ons. Perhaps other right-click add-ons are also trustworthy--there are coding experts and security-conscious professionals who are paid to spend their time analyzing these matters--and I'd appreciate their legitimate insights. For me, I'm sticking with Absolute. - Rated 3 out of 5by Will, 13 days agoI'd always loved this extension because it allowed me to right click on sites that don't allow it. But please know, it greatly affects tube sites! From YouTube to others, have you ever been logged into a browser profile for weeks, months, years, & suddenly the on screen controls no longer work, such as the scroll bar or volume? Absolute Enable Right Click & Copy is the problem! I had to disable it. Both on Firefox & Brave, something about this extension interferes with tube site controls after a while. You can still hover over the scroll bar, see the little preview images, you just can no longer click on it to take you to that point on the scroll bar. I did profile resets, tried every extension one by one. This one is the problem. For sure. Don't know why but it needs to be addressed so I can leave it on again! Thank You

- Rated 3 out of 5by yarrmateys, 3 months agowhile it seems to work for right mouse button, it also messes with the left mouse button which breaks website functionality. for example, with it enabled on youtube you can't change volume or move the video forward/back using the mouse, since trying to click the bars doesn't work.
