The Camelizer - Price Tracker by Cosmic Shovel

by Shayne, 4 months agoThis works perfectly. If it is not working, then it's nothing to do with the addon or site it references, something else is amiss. Maybe servers are down, maybe the user is dumb... but it's not the addon.

- Rated 5 out of 5by treesap, 15 days agoSimple, clean implementation. I like that it's in a dropdown instead of injected into the page. Please note the following, also mentioned in another users' comment, but it bears repeating:
To view the CamelCamelCamel graph, click the camel icon that will appear on the right side of the address/URL bar when you visit Amazon. (The main extension icon will still appear disabled.)
It's actually really nice, because it means you get easy access without having to have it pinned! - Rated 3 out of 5by Firefox user 15098750, a month agoIt kept track of prices on my Amazon Wish List, but it never rescans. I'd still get emails after I removed items & no updates if items were added. The final straw (hah) was missing a drastic price drop on Prime Day. Fortunately, I was checking my Wish List & caught it.

- Rated 1 out of 5by Ghost, 2 months agoEs können keine Wunschlisten aus Amazon de importiert werden.
Und keine Mausoverfunktion, um die älteren Preise zu sehen. - Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 18063227, 3 months ago

- Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 17080325, 4 months agoSays amazon.ca is supported, but doesn't work :(
- Rated 4 out of 5by EternalStudent07, 4 months agoLots of useful stuff and a pretty slick interface, but I wish it had dark mode (meaning it respected my system settings, or allowed Dark Reader to attempt an automatic dark mode version).
- Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 13539192, 4 months agoOne of the most useful shopping extensions on Firefox. Now with an improved UI, Camelizer makes purchasing decisions even easier, saving me money in the long run.
- Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 16372758, 6 months agoEverything from Amazon is listed "out of stock" and all desired prices are set to $1. Useless.

- Rated 4 out of 5by disp.name.temp, a year agoVery useful application.
The feature to set alerts and configure a profile really makes it stand out. I appreciate that, if the popup doesn't load while behind a VPN because the exit node IP got an activity warning, I can click the hyperlink right in the window to pass the cloudfare check, and it works on the next click of the camel icon. You can even run this on android via custom addon collection on FF Nightly or Mull (you have to trigger it through the menu, but it works).
I reserve one star because Amazon seems to be moving toward adding flat $ or %-off coupons that users "clip" by clicking a checkbox due to the psychological effect it has on shoppers, and this app does not yet consider those figures into the price, so sometimes the graph and price history don't paint the whole picture. - Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 15484970, a year agoLink funktioniert nicht. Datei Download nutzt nix weil Installation nicht läuft.?¿?¿?
- Rated 3 out of 5by Makeshift, a year agoA decent extension and does what it says, but I constantly forget it exists. I would really like an option to inject the camel^3 view directly into the Amazon store page so I can see it right away.
- Rated 5 out of 5by mrbruno, a year agoWorks perfectly fine. I don't know about the other negative reviews. The Permissions tab clearly shows that it only requires access to amazon and camelcamelcamel.com domains
- Rated 1 out of 5by Nibinaear, a year agoDoesn't work, nothing shows up in the toolbar. Not what I was looking for anyway. Leaning towards Keepa these days anyway.
What I was really looking for was a replacement for Amazon wishlists which they have full control over.
