About this extension
Tethernet connects your Firefox browser to Claude Code or Claude Desktop via MCP (Model Context Protocol). Claude sees your screen, reads the current page state, and guides you through complex multi-step web workflows — while you stay in control of your real, logged-in browser.
Unlike Playwright or Puppeteer which spawn isolated browsers, Tethernet uses your existing Firefox session — you're already logged in, your extensions are active, and 2FA/CAPTCHA steps are handled by you naturally.
Use cases:
• App Store Connect — app registration, provisioning profiles, TestFlight
• AWS Console — IAM roles, VPC, S3, security groups
• Stripe — webhooks, products, customer portal
• DNS management — any registrar
• Government and compliance forms
• Any multi-step authenticated workflow
── MCP SERVER REQUIRED ──
This extension requires the free Tethernet MCP server running locally alongside Claude Code or Claude Desktop.
Install with one command:
claude mcp add tethernet --scope user -- npx -y @drbenedictporkins/tethernet-mcp
