- Rated 5 out of 5by Ozymandias, a month agoI've used plenty of tab manager extensions, nothing offers me the ease of use and productivity boost that this one does!
Particularly love being able to clump tabs together into different windows and name them, as well as color code them, for easy identification and switching.
For someone who regularly has 300 tabs open and gets frustrated easily, this extension is a lifesaver :) - Rated 2 out of 5by Firefox user 12124050, 2 months agoThese screenshots show a search function and other icon options to the right of that search function. For some reason my Plus is not giving me the option to search or group tabs like I'm seeing in these screenshots making it not nearly as useful as it could be. Can someone point me in the right direction as to what I'm doing wrong? Thx.
- Rated 5 out of 5by Uncreated, 3 months agoExceedingly useful, particularly when used with other tab managers like Simple Tab Groups.
A regex engine would be nice in future updates too. I'd like to be able to close, say, https://www.youtube.com, but not https://www.youtube.com/Username - Rated 5 out of 5by jheckey, 3 months ago
- Rated 4 out of 5by duQnKRzcF5gfZ1Zd14lMSltP0DbRr, 3 months agoOn a multi-4K-monitor machine, we use the VerticalView and run TMP in a dedicated maximized window (on a dedicated 4K monitor) with URL: moz-extension://3f5675dc-079d-4207-a975-12a7971dd2c3/popup.html
We do this with many dozens of windows open, and many hundreds (sometimes more than a thousand) of tabs open - so, TMP is useful for productivity reasons.
However, while TMP is a good and needed addon, there is one bug that needs to be fixed:
The order of windows displayed in TMP must not be changed. Everytime a user switches to another window, TMP re-orders the display to show that window at the top. This re-ordering of windows is very-undesirable and also consumes too much CPU resources. Preserving the original order of windows is very-much-preferred and desired.
Besides the above bug, another improvement would be to reduce CPU consumption in other ways by making this addon less bulky - again, because most users who use this addon probably use it because they have many hundreds of tabs open at the same time. We disabled animations but still, TMP tends to slow down the browser a little when many hundreds (or more than a thousand) tabs open at the same time.
Also, for future versions, please preserve compatibility with WaterfoxClassic by ensuring that this addon works with Firefox versions 56+ (since WaterfoxClassic is forked from Firefox 56.6).
Also please preserve the VerticalView feature in future versions because seeing the full tab titles is, in our humble opinion, best for productivity reasons.

- Rated 5 out of 5by Thomas Leon Highbaugh, 4 months agoBy far the only feature packed tab manager that has what you would expect a tab manager to have and not be annoying about it. Being able to switch the view style of the tabs being managed in the popup or its own tab is a really nice addition that makes it far more user friendly than the many alternatives I have used. It also was extremely self explanatory to use, there was no need to dive into Github issues just to figure out how to use the thing. Most importantly, it includes the experimental feature to save sessions that so far is working well and means that I can eliminate other extensions than just other tab managers with this one, which I like as having too many extensions makes me a bit nervous in terms of long term sustainability of my workflow.
My only gripe with this extension is cosmetic, I would like to be able to control the background and foreground colors in dark mode as the default is not my favorite. That's not worth a star though. - Rated 5 out of 5by Stefan, 4 months ago

- Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 17292399, 6 months agoAbsolutely stellar. I can see the tabs and manipulate them at will. Just need to explain to some users the existence certain tips and tricks like ctrl+left click or dragging between lists and it'll be just what I'd want.
- Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 17292257, 6 months agoTab Manager is a brilliant piece of software/add-on, I use it continually for finding pages, searching for information and just leave useful tabs open and use it as an excellent search on my history.
I really push the software, at the moment over 2300 pages/tabs open in firefox, one window! Doing a search on all open tabs usually find the page I looking for and if wanted can open a group of tabs in another window and know all the pages open are probably useful, it's like an intelligent favourites from the browser history. Many thanks Markus and best wishes from the UK and other software developers.

- Rated 1 out of 5by steam643, 6 months agoI downloaded and installed Tab Manager Plus for Firefox last week. I sorted through about 150 tabs the manager seamed to be what I needed. I had 4 windows open that I was sorting into named Hobie's, Financials. Truck stuff, and General where I was keeping tabs that didn't fit the other three. I got tabs the way I wanted them and decided to see what happens when I turn off Firefox. When I restarted the tab that I called General was gone and with it all of the tabs in it. What did I do wrong? Is there any way to get them back? I tried the history but there are only a few from that window. I tried to rebuild the window with what I had then restarted again. Once again the General window was gone. This program looks like just what I need. It also likes to delete the names that I assign to different windows. I just recently had a power outage and once again the General window was gone! What am I doing wrong? I just had to restart my computer and now i have lost another group. I'm getting rid of this thing! If I wanted to reduce the number of tabs I would have just deleted them myself.

- Rated 4 out of 5by Tomas, 7 months agoGreat app with a lot of potential and I am using it all the time. But there is a massive bug. When I close the firefox and reopen it, all the tabs names are shifted and randomly allocated to one another and I have to go one by one and set the correct names againg which is very, very painful. Please, for the love of humanity solve it.
