About this extension

SubSeerr adds a blue "+ Seerr" button next to every anime title on SubsPlease.org. It connects to your self-hosted Seerr-compatible media request server.

How it works

Browse SubsPlease.org as usual — the extension automatically scans schedule tables, the "All Shows" page, and individual show detail pages
Each anime title gets a blue "+ Seerr" button that checks your server to see if the show is already available
A green "✔ Seerr" button means the show is on your media server (linked to Sonarr/Radarr or already available)
Click the button to send a media request to your server with all seasons included

Features

🎯 Smart title matching — uses word-frequency scoring with a 5% anime genre boost to find the right show even when names differ
🔄 Progressive fallback — retries with shorter title variants if no match is found
🖱 Hover tooltip — shows the anime's rating and synopsis loaded from your server on demand
⚡ Batch checking — checks availability for all visible shows in parallel (6 concurrent workers), deduplicates titles to avoid redundant API calls
🌓 Dark/light mode support
🔒 No tracking, no analytics, no external requests beyond your own server

Setup

Install the extension
Click the extension icon to open settings
Enter your Seerr server URL (e.g. https://seerr.example.com) and API key
Grant permission for the extension to access your server
That's it — head over to SubsPlease.org and start requesting!
